The Quincy Grandmeister had chosen a student and they would embark on a self discovery mission to expose the student to what a Quincy is. However, unexpected challenges begin to surface in time as they overcome every step.

Countless giant monsters known as the forest watchers,
lurk in these woods and have been a plague for centuries. They are resistant to ice and fire but fear water.

"Boom!!!!"
Rocks splitted, no longer able to maintain their firm stance, each crumbled into a landslide that swept away the rodents that scampered away in fear of their lives. A carved monument lost its footing and came rolling down the pile of rubbles, it's path obstructed by the four eyed prince. Four eyes? Did he really possess four eyes? What an abomination of nature he would be if indeed he possessed four oculars. He was referred to as "Four eyes" due to the fact that he wore glasses always. He had an ocular condition, but was still able to see tho not farther away without his glasses.

On its way down the path, boasting of sufficient vigour to devour the prince in one fell swoop. Stretching out his slender fair hand, he set it before him like an archer. Coalescing spiritual essense, a blue well structured bow took form around his hand, his fingers curled into a firm grip around it's handle for stability. Pulling his left hand which moved forward to grab a hold of the string, an arrow manifested out of said spiritual essense he had crafted the bow from. Letting go of his grip, the arrow moved ever so gently, like a pair of scissors dividing a cloth from it's hem, the wind brushed against it but to no avail. The arrow ruptured through the wind and finally the monument, reducing it to bits which flew at different points refusing to get close to the prince.

"At my feet. That's were all belong". His calm voice boasted, adjusting his glasses with his left hand shortly after the bow dispersed to Oblivion. About to turn, he received an applaud from one who just arrived the scene. He smiled, allowing his body turn gently to face the figure who stood in the shadows, jamming his hands in applause.

"I see you've been practicing with your bow quite lately". The figure made fun of him.
"Don't joke with me, else your head would taste my arrow". The prince replied while moving closer, elegant in his stride.
"Relax kid. I'm just kidding, either ways, I've got news for you boy.. The Grandmaster requests your presence in an eerie looking place. Congratulations on your first mission". The man broke the news rather casually and turned to move away.

"Wait Genzou.. What do you think is the purpose of this race of ours". A rhetorical question it was. The prince had an iron clad determination to carve out his purpose. Power! Power! More Power! He craved, should the head of the emperor be the source to attain the power he so sought for, he'll take it by all means, either ways, having someone's opinion wasn't that bad. The prince began to move towards Genzou seconds after his question.
"Uhmm. I honestly don't know, neither do I care". Genzou replied. At this time, the prince had paced right past Genzou. He halted, allowing his Iris race towards the corner of his eyes, sparking with an unfamiliar glint. He exhaled and resumed his walk. Walking out of the cave lid building, the rays of the sun greeted him, the wind singing his praise as the grasses bowed in acknowledgment. Genzou turned towards his right and headed away. The prince raised his head, closed his eyes, drew in breathe casually while brandishing the blade that sat at the left side of his waist. About two minutes in this tranquil pose, he opened his eyes and began to move forward, like a royalty walking on red carpet with subjects bowing in adoration.

In a matter of minutes, specifically, 30 minutes. The price arrived at the humble abode of the Grandmaster, he didn't know what urged him to move towards his home rather than moving to the Headquarters. Either ways, his fingers curled into a fist, setting it at an angle on the door, he knocked on it thrice, his ears enjoying the sound feedback it gave. Awaiting a reply, he adjusted his glasses, eager to engage himself and test out his abilities. However, he would've gone to the venue alone, but he didn't know the way. He hoped the Grandmaster wouldn't flinch on his unexpected visit.

A man sat on the edge of the tallest mountain over the deepest valley in the icy forest not too far from his residence. He had white hair and his eyes reflected the sun's rays as it glinted ever so slightly. He looked old but not frail, and the wind tugged against his white high collar coat as he was clad in a pair of white pants, brown sandals and white shirt.

He waited for no one precisely but for something. This was his favorite hunting ground and his prey which previously hunted him, now eluded him like a plague. His name is Crimson Max and today he would try to kill one of the many underground beasts that people call forest watchers. They knew him and so they hid themselves.

Multiple man sized beasts with a semblance akin to wild beavers, they had plants grown over their backs as they scampered about the forest floors. Crimson however, saw them as game and launched his arrows from several hundred thousand yards away, snatching their lives with every shot he unleashed.

Suddenly, the earth quaked and the mountains quivered, something enormous was awoken. It's location wasn't pinpointed yet, when it thundered an earsplitting roar that could be heard from more than 2km away.

"Knock Knock Knock"
The resounding bang echoed in the distance until something even more hostile sprung out from his left, bringing to knees the trees that scattered around the valley. Cracks ran through ice structures like kneaded web until they shattered into several pieces. The intensity of the roar shook the foundations of the landscape and caused the young prince to bend low, both palms against his ears to shield them from the intensity of the roar. To show forth it's power, the prince was gradually repelled even as he struggled to maintain his footing. Few seconds, a minute, finally, silence reigned supreme once more, forcing the prince to retract his hands from his ears.

He raised his left hand towards his face, removing his glasses, he rubbed them against his cloth to clear the foggy mist that glued to both. Setting them back before his eyes and positioning it at the bridge of his nose, he stared into the distance, moving his head gradually, scanning the mountains till he saw a silhouette standing tall in the midst of the mountains from whence the roar came. He deduced that this must be no one else other than the crazed Grandmaster, judging from the fact that no one responded to his call behind the wooden door.

The prince shook his head, this old geezer had gone looking for trouble, he could tell. And now, dragging the fair prince into this scenario he had created, how cumbersome. Well, judging from ranks and thrill for adventure, the prince couldn't object even if he wanted, rather, flowing with the tide to experience adventure at its peak would be a favour this mission would grant him. He exhaled, letting out trapped warm air and taking in from his nostrils, chilled air. He began to move, little by little, he drew closer till he was few meters away from the foot of the mountain. Pressing his feet against the mountain floors, he focused his weight to both feet, boosting himself, he made a leap which granted him access over several outstretched icy platforms, easily towering each and landing on them to repeat same procedure. Upon getting to the fifth, he towered above it easily, but the moment he set his feet on it, attempting another boost, the platform lost its firmness and came crashing down with the prince on its rubbles. On mid air, the prince spun himself, withdrawing the blade attached to his waist, with enough force in his right hand, he dug deep into the mountain the edge of the sword, halting his decent as he hung like a picture on a wall.

"Tch.. Screw this." he lamented. Forcefully retracting his sword, he free fell at a reduced pace, landing on the later platform he had hopped on before getting to this which was now nothing but rubbles on the face of the other. He sheathed his blade, deciding to go at this the "Quincy way". Jumping into the air, one may think he attempted jumping down the mountain on a suicide ride or whatever they thought his motive was. Gathering reishi beneath, he began to surf the air on a board made of reishi which extended, tho a bit crooked in form. He rode till he was at the top, leaping off it, he made a forward full body spin, then forcefully landing to the left of the Grandmaster, one knee down, another drawing close to his chest even as he bent low his body in unison with his head. His right arm rested atop the knee close to his chest while his left palmed the Earth.

"Forgive my lateness Crimson Sama.. You called for me.". The prince spoke calmly but boldly, picking his words carefully so as not to provoke the crazed Titan.

Turning to catch sight of what it was, Crimson came eye to eye with a gigantic beast almost 300m to the right side of the forest from his view point. And just then, the soldat he had brought along to teach how to hunt game had arrived, but this beast before them wasn't part of the plan.

To the old man, it was not a bother bringing down the creature but this was never about him, it was about the young Soldat named Gael, and even though his luck was slightly sour now. He was still going to bring down the beast or die by its hands. 'You're just in time... Bring me it's head, said Crimson to the young Soldat, pointing towards the beast.

The creature, as large as 3 big city buildings, created massive 10m wide craters with each stomp, causing the earth to quiver under its might as it raced towards them. In seconds it was upon them, with a left folded fist it smashed down on the mountain top where they resided. However, before it could make contact with the mountain, Crimson had vanished, employing his Hierienkyaku and reappearing 500ft above the mountain, standing on a Reishi plate to see the boy's resolve.

"Wait.. Really??. Confused, the prince voiced out, his voice taking a rather bold tone. Was he called here to die? When he thought the trouble maker would face the consequences of the trouble he so sought for, the inverse occurred quite quickly. Leaving the prince to face this monstrosity that stood so tall that it could rival 3 big city buildings, and even prevent the rays of the sun from blessing the human race. The prince landed, bending a knee on a branch far towards the right of the beast. He spared the grandmaster a gaze while cussing him under his breath.

Prior, his eyeballs constricted behind his glasses when a shadow was casted upon him and the grandmaster. All he could see was a clenched fist moving down at breakneck speed. Immediately, his instincts kicked in, jumping towards his right, barely evading the slam. The force beget waves of wind which repelled him farther away alongside chunks of snow balls. He was lucky enough to hit a tree which broke his aerial movement.

Now, what was he going to do. Facing this beast head on would be disastrous. The prince exhaled heavily while peeping from the branch at the behemoth which roared with might, happy with it's assault he laid on them.
"Now..", he urged himself. Any onlooker present would fail to notice his quick movement out of the trees abode, except those with trained eyes rivalling that of the eagle. The prince would appear in mid air, with an outstretched left arm, he released his spiritual essense in much volume. Said spiritual energy coalesced into a large bow, magnificent in appearance, boasting of immense pride as it allowed only royalty_the prince, wield it. His fingers curled around it's handle for perfect grip. The illumination drew the attention of the beast towards the prince, all playing out as the prince wanted. Stretching his right hand towards the string of the bow, he drew back on it, allowing an arrow to take form.

"Begone, Filth.", the prince spoke softly in a cold tone, he let go of the arrow which soared majestically towards the behemoth whose face was in it's path. Looking at things from a different perspective, one may think this behemoth indeed wasn't sentient for it wore a smile even as the arrow made contact, between it's eyes, and fume coated his face. The prince landed on the top of the mountain, watching as the wind drove away the fume.
His eyeballs dilated seeing that the beast was nearly unharmed, only a slight dent which drew trickles of blood. It was then it dawned on him that he was really in deep shit.

The beast palmed the Earth forcefully, creating several craters and a quake that nearly succeeded in throwing the prince off balance. It positioned it's head towards the peak of the mountain the prince resided. With opened jaws, dark energy began to coalesce into a purple-black ball. The prince eyes could reflect the formation of the ball, beads of sweat trickled down his forehead. Stretching his bow at the mass, he fueled in more spiritual energy, waiting for the beast to give the "go".
