Zanpakutou: Ethereal Locus — Reijin
Sealed state appearance: Reijin in its sealed state is a standard Katana with four-pointed star as it’s guard.

Shikai:

Name: Reijin (霊刃, Spirit Blade)
Release Command: Kirisuteru (切り捨てる, cut away)

Shikai Appearence: Upon assuming this Shikai form, Reijin can have one of two appearances. The first is a glowing white blade that radiates with an ethereal energy. The second is an all black blade that emits a foul aura.

Shikai Description: This form of Reijin harnesses the fundamentals of the Shinigami, specifically their natural ability to act as some sort of usher for souls. By amplifying the Shinigami’s ability to govern the flow of souls, Reijin is able to act as a conduit or “Locus” for pure and malevolent spirits. As a result, Reijin draws in the power and will of those souls in order to significantly bolster its own abilities. This form of Reijin awakens when the user attains all 8 sen, which causes Bushi no Haiku to evolve into Shinigami no Haiku and allows Reijin to assume its “Locus Form”

Shikai Abilities:

Ability: Hissatsu Ken: Suimei [Locus Form] (必殺剣•水明, Certain Death Blade: Shimmering Water)
Element: Dark / Wind
Type: Active.
Descriptions: An attack designed for the sole purpose of cutting an enemy down at close range (8m). As a result of any of the user’s slashing attacks done while calling out the word “Suimei”, a trail of hundreds of smaller slashing blades known as hakaze (刃風, blade wind) is formed. Upon manifestation, the mass of small blades appears like sunlight reflecting off gentle waters.
  • Locus Form Suimei allows Emi to use all stance effects of this ability without the need to take a stance beforehand.
  • Suimei’s base range becomes 8m in this form.
  • The concentration of hakaze becomes quadrupled as per the effects of “Bushi no Haiku’s” 3rd verse.
  • Locus Form Suimei causes the blades formed to be enveloped by small yet extremely powerful gusts of wind. These gusts amplify the blade’s cutting power and allows them to drill into people and objects.
Ability: Hissatsu Ken: Anbu Zangeki [Locus Form] (必殺剣•暗部斬撃, Certain Death Blade: Dark side slashing)
Element: Dark
Type: Active
Description: An attack purely steeped in the art of deception. When the user attacks and calls out “Anbu Zangeki”, a phantom hand appears and quickly draws an ephemeral blade to make its attack. Upon manifestation, appears as if death itself is seeking to claim the life of its victims.
  • Locus Form Anbu Zangeki allows Emi to use all stance effects of this ability without the need to take a stance beforehand.
  • All stance associated ranges and effects become quadruple as per “Bushi no Haiku‘s” 3rd. verse.

Ability: Hissatsu Ken: Chikyuu no Nikushimi Zangeki [Locus Form] (必殺剣•地球斬撃の憎しみ, Certain Death Blade: Hatred of Earth Slash)

Descriptions: After gaining Sen, the user draws on the full power of the blade. Making use of this power, they cut into or at the earth while calling “Chikyuu Zangeki” to cause an upheaval. Upon upheaval, it appears as if a dragon sleeping beneath the earth is awakening with righteous fury.
  • Locus Form Chikyuu no Nikushimi Zangeki allows Emi to use all stance effects of this ability without the need to take a stance beforehand.
  • All stance associated ranges and effects become quadruple as per “Bushi no Haiku‘s” 3rd. verse.
  • Locus Form also allows the user to substitute broken up earth for for shadow constructs that are equally as powerful and capable of all the same effects this ability has when used otherwise.
Ability: Shinigami no Haiku (死神の俳句, Death God’s Haiku)
Element: None
Type: Passive
Description: After gaining all 8 Sen, Bushi no Haiku evolves and becomes Shinigami no Haiku. When active, the user draws a mass of either benevolent or malevolent spirits into their blade. This causes all of Reijin’s abilities to permanently assume their strongest versions, gain elemental affinity, while also eliminating stance requirements for stance effects.
  • This effect can also be activated upon Shikai’s release without the need to acquire 8 Sen.
  • In this case the user temporarily sacrifices their ability to use all non-Zanpakutou spoken abilities such as kidou.
  • In the sacrificial case, the user becomes cursed and loses their voice as they would with Bushi no Haiku.
    • Instead, Reijin speaks on behalf of the user and is able to manifest the power of all other Zanpakutou abilities as normal.
  • This curse remains in effect even when Bankai is activated.

  • Daiichi no Inbun (第一の韻文, First Verse):
    Cloaked in all black.
    • Removes all stance requirements for all stance effects.
  • Daini no Inbun (第二の韻文, Second Verse):
    Shinigami guide the dead.
    • All abilities gain their elemental affinities.
  • Daisan no Inbun (第三の韻文, Third Verse):
    Balance is maintained.
    • Quadruples the range, potency, and all other associated effects all techniques.
    Bankai:

    Appearance: In its Ethereal Locus form, Tenkai Reijin becomes an ethereal blade that radiates with an intense mix of pure and malevolent energy.

    Bankai Description: After assuming it’s Bankai form, after Shinigami no Haiku is activated, Tenka Reijin also adopts a Locus form. In this form, Emperor’s Soul is activated automatically and has its duration tripled, and all sen costs associated with other abilities are reduced to zero.

    Ability: Soul Harmonize II: Blade Curse [Locus Form]
    Type: Active/Passive
    Element: Dark
    Sen Cost:0
    Description: By paying tribute to malevolent spirits, Tenka Reijin becomes cursed by their ill will. As a result Tenka Reijin transforms into a youtou, (妖刀, "cursed katana"), and gains the ability to employ that powerful curse in battle. Whenever and wherever Tenkai Reijin strikes, that area becomes “haunted” as a result. This curse allows the effects of that strike, slash, or whatever else to be delayed for as long as Emi desires.
    • Anything cursed will take on a purple glow, clearly indicating that some sort of effect has occurred.
    • All delayed effects will happen as they would normally, however they can occur at a much later time. Ex: An attack that could slice a tree down would still slice that tree down, however Emi could decide for that not to occur until two posts later.
    • When striking the air, an unusual effect occurs where the “slash” becomes stuck and will remain that way until touched or if another area becomes cursed. Anything to touch this “slash” will be cut just as it would normally.
    • Any number of locations can be cursed simultaneously. However cursing anything after the air will result in the air curse being removed.
    • Areas will remain haunted indefinitely until Bankai is sealed.
      • Areas left haunted when Bankai dissipates will explode, releasing stored energy.
    Ability: Soul Harmonize V: Emperor’s Soul [Locus Form]
    Type: Active/Passive
    Element: Dark
    Sen Cost: 0
    Description: By paying tribute to the legendary Jimmu-Tennou, Emi and Tenka Reijin both become possessed by the great founding Emperor. With this Ultimate Soul Harmonization in effect Emi’s focus becomes that of shaping tremendous change and “commanding the power that forged a nation.” Using the blessings of Jimmu, Tenka Reijin and Emi are able to Harmonize with all other souls simultaneously for a short time.
    • This ability lasts for nine posts.
    • All of the effects and rules of previous Soul Harmonize abilities apply here. However there are exceptions.
      • The first is that Tenka Reijin can remain unsheathed with this Harmonization in effect.
      • The second is that that the strength condensing effect from Soul Harmonize III no longer requires Sen and no longer reduces the duration of this Soul Harmonize when used.

    Separating this from above / what was provisionally approved from the ash event.

    It seems there was an aspect of my Zan I forgot to include with the last submission so I’m here to add that and one more thing.

    To be added to Anbu Zangeki:
    • Phantom hands, and attacks made by the phantom hands are able to pass through the user without harming them.
    To be added to Locus form Suimei:
    • Blades formed by Suimei are made up of highly condensed spirit particles.
Also this @PhoenixDayne. Mostly the same as is now but slightly modified abilities are included to be “upgrades”.

Ability Name; Dynamite Effect.
Element(s); Energy & Force.
Type; Active; Physical Effect.
Description; Seke can multiply the impact/effect of his physical based attacks by forcefully exciting atoms around his body which commonly leads to explosions or sometimes, knock aback the target. Seke doesn't suffer from the effect of the explosions or the knockback force.
Sub-effect; This necessarily doesn't mean it can not be used in a non-physical way. It'd forcefully explode these excited atoms around opponent(s) that aren't far off by anything more than 50metres, however, impact and all notable effects of an explosion is kept at the level of Seke's highest "castable" hellflames and would cost just as much reiatsu as the hellflame counterpart.
Limitations;
1• Seke suffers just about the same impact he's dealt.
2• The multiplication cannot go higher than 3×.
3• 2× deducts about 3% of Seke's reiatsu.
4• 3× deducts 6% of Seke's reiatsu.

Ability Name;Frozen World.
Element; Energy Manipulation.
Type; Active.
Command; Unknown (Not Needed).
Description; Seke is able to release a great amount of cold energy, which embrittles and freezes over things along a path, leaving behind spikes and dangerous shards, capable of skewering anything.
Upon activation of this ability, Seke's body become quite pale as everything around him becomes frozen and misty, turning whatever he touches into another block of ice from inside out. This is because he always release cold energy when he activates this technique.
Sub-effect; Staying long in Seke's supposed "Frozen World" causes a very serious frostbite, where limbs break apart as if they were made of ice, living bodies become as pale as corpse's due to limited blood circulation and a dysfunctional temperature regulation in one's body. However, Seke can plummet the temperature of his "Frozen World" or rather the cold energy he's releasing to an absolute zero where even atoms aren't moving, bringing almost everything moving to a complete halt. Every skill he or his minions utilizes comes with a freezing effect, turning his hellflames into flames that freezes.
Limitations;
• Opponents(Roleplayers) and any of their attacks composed, amplified, coated or made of reiatsu aren't subjected to the effects of the absolute zero, however, if they do not fend off the cold, they might have a serious case of frostbite.
• -100°C drains 1.5% per post.
• -150°C drains 3% per post.
• -200°C drains 4.5% per post.
• -250°C drains 6% per post.
• Absolute Zero drains 7.5% per post.

A pretty straightforward ability. Igniting oxygen in the air by exciting the atoms in a flash. What I don't get is Limitation 1., 'Seke Suffers just about the same impact he's dealt.' In the ability description, it's mentioned, 'Seke doesn't suffer from the effect of the explosions or the knockback force.'. These two seem to clash. Explain?

The visual it brings up is really cool. I'm guessing this is the opposite of Dynamite Effect, where the atoms are slowed down. Only issue I have with this is I think the energy cost should be tied to both the temperature and the mass of the body under the effect. Don't know how this could be done right now, but maybe take a moment to figure it out, Phe?

Mass? Do I really have to?🤔
I mean, Bleach characters don't really bother with mass of an object to affect it. It is either the ability functions in part or in whole.
Like uh, the zanpakuto that doubles the weight of anything struck, working limb by limb? Urahara's bankai's reconstruction? Rukia's zanpakuto?

The shift in stats is another form of stats increase, meaning, you'd have to choose one.

Two, if you're channeling how powerful you can hit, it'd also affect your durability.

Three, a set time limit needs to be in place.

- Basis of elements reestablished.

Togabito Skill; Demonic Echo.
Name; Netherworld & Cecid.
Element(s); Dark/black & Energy Manipulation.
Insight; Seke can create and manipulate energy at all planes and levels of existence. As the ruler of netherworld, Dark becomes his primary ability, giving him a vast array of ideas to utilize Cecid.


Ability Name; Cecid Excitation.
Element(s); Energy Manipulation.
Type; Active; Physical Effect.
Description; Seke can multiply the impact/effect of his physical based attacks by forcefully exciting atoms around his body which commonly leads to explosions or sometimes, knock aback the target(the knockback or explosive effect can drastically increase if the opponent was caught with this attack during motion). Seke doesn't suffer from the effect of the explosions or the knockback.
Sub-effect; This necessarily doesn't mean it can not be used in a non-physical way. It'd forcefully explode these excited atoms around opponent(s) that aren't far off by anything more than 50metres, however, impact and all notable effects of an explosion is kept at the level of Seke's highest "castable" hellflames and would cost just as much reiatsu as the hellflame counterpart.

Sub-effect; Staying long in Seke's supposed "Frozen World" causes a very serious frostbite, where limbs break apart as if they were made of ice, living bodies become as pale as corpse's due to limited blood circulation and a dysfunctional temperature regulation in one's body. However, Seke can plummet the temperature of his "Frozen World" or rather the cold energy he's releasing to an absolute zero where even atoms aren't moving, bringing almost everything moving to a complete halt. This, not only physically evolve things in a negative way, but mentally as well, evolving the once mild hostile intent into an unquenchable hate, anger, hostile intent or anything negative at all. That said, even friends can turn foe
Side effects;
- Trees grow very thorny with sensitive vines and branches and become omnivorous. Domestic animals become larger and wilder, incapable of being tamed. Their forms are divorced from what they were but leaving behind the notable features that makes up their identity. Growing spiky and sharp durable furs(for animals with furs), extended fingertips and jagged teeth, capable of eating off metal.
- Good or non-malicious reasoning becomes impossible.
- When applied on oneself during any of those mentioned states above, there's a clear change in physique wanting to adopt the body of a vicious organism that can survive the cold or heat(though not previously affected by any change in temperature).
- When applied normally(not in any state or in tandem with an ability) on himself, Seke's changes are rather mild, not exceeding mere extension of spikes across skin and sudden protrusion of sharp and durable fingernails.
- Characters/creatures with slight alterations begin to battle their own body as limbs begin to act violently, attempting to tear its body apart.
- Can be used through his ranged attacks or any arsenal he possession.
True utility and sub-effect
Seke applies this ability in acceleratedly evolving the current specs and capabilities of his three minions that hover constantly about him. This gives them a more defined form similar to certain creatures(prehistoric, mythical).

Diablo's new nature comes as a result of how wrathful it is. Diablo gains sharp talons and the attribute to levitate/fly with the wings attached beside both arms. The tail whips about with enough force to shatter a boulder.
Diablo cannot exist beyond 15metres.

Ecstanzo still remains incapable of assaulting a target. However, its ability is amplified to sense malicious intent, reiatsu. It communicate both telepathically and verbally. Thanks to his inability to assault, it possesses an enormous range of 100m.

•••Marco;

Marco is as subservient as ever and cannot exist beyond 5m. It can spew different flames with varying destructiveness from each head. First head can spit out a vortex/waves of flames, second can spit out bullets/explosive balls of flames and the last can spew out magma that hardens and restrains targets immediately.

Limitations
- Each evolution(of minions) takes 7% of his reiatsu and requires 1.5% of reiatsu to be sustained per post.
- Growth can be slowed by constantly channeling reiatsu to the point of contact to prevent accelerated spread.

Okay, I'll say again, I love these abilities, and now with the minions? Phe, I'm going to steal your ideas ... But I'mma be polite about it. :p

That said, I give this a conditional approval. As brilliant as this all is on paper, I think this is one of those abilities, like mine, that need to be put into practice to really measure their ...er...practicality. Which makes it a good thing we're about to have an epic spar. :p
