He said in such a way that it could be passed as a whisper. At the word, Arthur’s hair changed from its pure white nature to a long Jet Black hair that reached all the way to his waist, each strand of hair stood up for they were excited due to the high volume and intensity of electricity moving through his body. Arthur’s white pupil and iris turned black. The atmosphere below the black clouds kept showing flashes of lightning and thunder was clearly heard from above in the clouds.
There, his opponent stood before him as Arthur’s blackened eyes saw two clones and one original. He figured the young man’s aim was to deceive him by multiplying in numbers, a simple trick that can be achieved by those with the highest speed, although judged by Arthur that his opponent was a level lower than he was in terms of speed, it still was not strange for him to achieve that much. He...
”Then it is only a matter of destroying them all”
He said with a disinterested look. Surely the man planned to deceive him, but Arthur could already tell them apart from the original, for anyone in possession of Reverse Sight would be able to tell the deference. Human’s are living machinery, all of our actions are collected by transmission signals from our brains, which is a very weak electric current. Since Arthur had activated Tenbatsu, the accuracy of Reverse sight had multiplied for his sensory organs had increased, he can very much now sense the electric current emitting from his opponent’s brain and body which was the reason he was able to tell what the man was up to and to differentiate the difference between the clones from the original.
Arthur’s senses was massively improved for he had gained twice the perception Kishin already gave him when Tenbatsu became active. This was because, The Electrons in each of his cells became ten times excited than they already were with Kishin, this gave rise to his body becoming light so much so that the very air itself became denser than Arthur. Arthur now lighter than air began to float as his legs left the ground, he had attained the ability to fly as a side effect of his overly and massively excited cells. Arthur as he was, was the human form of the element called lightning, a charged particle that gravity had no effect on that was what he had become, capable of so much more as he was now. He has transcended to the level of a god, an entity that controlled and commanded and also had dominion of the element lightning. His blackened eyes could see every atom of electron, proton, and neutron floating around in the air and all around his environment.
Arthur was ready, his sole focus was to extinguish the enemy before him. Normally, the time taken to charge Tenbatsu would have been extended, however, it was so fortunate that his opponent had to be a lightning user and as such, they both contributed to heating up the atmosphere.
With the activation, a surge of electric current was released from his body which would spread all the way across the arena ground as the floor to which they stood would become engulfed with black electricity. Anyone standing inside the arena would instantly be electrocuted. Arthur would hover on the air as he began to rise higher so much so he was at the very top of the Coliseum and was now looking down at Killy, as the floor that Killy and his clones stood on as well as the whole floor inside the arena began to melt_and would eventually turn into lava. This occurred only because of how much intense heat his lightning in Bankai produced so much so that anyone that was hit by the wave of electricity would unavoidable be turned to ash.
Arthur’s aim was to remove the man’s advantage on land and would thus attempt to force the man into an aerial combat. It happened immediately the ground below him began to melt, Arthur had simultaneously connected the man and his clones now standing below him to their electric field and with the flip of his finger, the lightning flashes that appeared all across the sky began to descend at a speed reaching about a thousand mile per-second, all with a single focus like a missile moved to impale, electrocute, destroy their target. The torrent of lightning which descended from all parts of the clouds moved with a single purpose which was to carry out their master’s wish.
Watching the events unfold before him, Arthur remembered that the incident before him was one that was similar to what his mentor had done to the beast known as Solus the captain of the 7th Division, the power of the lightning that descended from the sky on that fateful day was strong enough to totally destroy an inverted pyramid(Bakudo 78), and at the same time give a devastating wound to Solus. The lightning ability his mentor had used was part of his Shikai ability, and unlike his mentor Aoshi Elvira, his’ was his strongest Bankai ability and also it wasn’t a random attack like Aoshi’s, Arthur’s attack was solely focused on Killy.
The lava below him would begin to seep into the foundation of the arena, affecting the reinforcements as the building itself would begin to collapse, the columns would be the first to fall as the lava spread through to every part of the building, every now and then stray lightning would hit the walls and other unaffected columns. The crowds shouted in fear as they came to the reality that Arthur intended to bury them alive along with his opponent, not that he cared anyway, all that mattered was that he had to win no matter who gets sacrificed along the way.
To the man floating in the air, it did not matter what method his opponent used to combat or stage a defense, for he knew the basic logic of life. That in it sense was that for a fighter to have any hope of defending his opponent’s most powerful Bankai attack, that fighter himself would have to make use of a force equal or greater than that attack. It boils down to if the fighter would counter the power with his own Bankai attack, or if he would employ an external means. For the Shinigami, the external means falls down to the Shinigami art known as Kidō, for the Arrancar or other races, well Arthur had no idea what they would do.
The very good thing about Tenbatsu was that Arthur had already paid the price of it’s usage the moment he activated his Bankai. On the activation of his Bankai, 40% of his Reiatsu was used to charge up the atmosphere, this mattered not weather he would use it or not. The 40% would always be shifted to Tenbatsu on the activation of his Bankai. That said, during the usage of Tenbatsu, Arthur would not be limited to the constraints of his Reiatsu, for he had already paid the price. No matter how he intended to make use of that ability, his Reiatsu would not be deducted any longer. That was in itself means he was free to bring the heavens down with that ability. Now, what would his opponent do? How would his opponent react to the turn of event, Arthur wondered.
