• Rippled Dimension : A quite awkward name for a desolate land. Not anymore. Recently, it brimmed and clamoured with green and life, and leftover voices, resounding repeatedly amidst quietness at odd interval - simply put, it was noisy but then quiet whilst the voices rang across the terrain. The state of the land? It'd shift, cleave, vibrate and ripple, altering the movement and direction of things even airborne. The trees? They'd extend their pines, shoot forward their stalks and thorns. The vicious land welcomed no one, and the idea of time? It was inexistent. It'd be day for an hour and night for months, an hour could be as long as years outside of it. Everything as twisted as could be. There was literally no sense of anything; Of direction? Of time? Perception?

But then. . . It was home for horrid combats, unrestricted strength and chaotic exchanges.
And as this land may be, it dwelled upon the idea of law of equivalent exchange. Give unto an arm and gain an army of plants.
Give unto it your voice and dictate the entirety of the land. However, Greed and Generosity, Gluttony and Temperance are sides of a coin - beware!

Distant steps patted green rocky plains, strolling down orchid fields in gentle placid strides. The summer breeze moved evanescently against his stoic build bracing his pale skin in a calm soothing flow. Hazuki as he was well known traveled a long distance away from home hopping to dismiss the dark clouds which hovered round his heads. His brown cotton robe danced around his sturdy frame, swaying ever so gently to the touch of the sandy wind.

Icy-cold, his hazel eyes beamed though hidden under his straw hat which sat on top long flowing black hair. His deamenour spoke loud of a man on a hunt and that much could be seen from the double Zanpaktou he wielded, both strapped tightly to his right hip. He’d recently learnt of a conspiracy which had put him in line as a target. However, he’d cared little about his safety than he did the rest of soul society.

Stepping down from his seat because of this revolt the middle age man had taken it upon himself to hunt those who hunt him. His journey so far had brought him to the rippled field where he felt the perpetrators could have their own hidden camp. However, he’d kept his movement a secret hoping to avoid the watchful eyes of the central zone.

Looking back at his action now, he could tell his old behaviors were slowly catching up. However it didn't matter what his reasons were what had to be done had to be done quickly. It didn’t matter who it was or what he had to face seeing as he'd already made up his mind to cut down any who stumbled unto his path.

His thoughts had sterilized and so did his resolve making him a wolf among lost sheep's. Quickly a shaded figure darted due east carrying on top his right shoulder a bag big enough to be his size. following up immediately, the shinigami found the targets keen awareness impressive as he quickly picked up his pase hoping to get rid of him. "Not in your lifetime" the shinigami mumbled, tapping into his basic shunpo proficiency to overtake the shaddy man whom dressed much like him though his in all black with a face mask covering everything but his blue eyes.

Much to his shock the man seemed to have known exactly what he would do and had prepared a flare bomb and three star shuriken which he tossed expertly with his left hand. However, before his hands could retract from its tossing motio he found his head severed from his body, with the gadgets he tossed earlier held firmly in one palm inbetween hazukis right finger. The body bag he held by his shoulder quickly hit the ground and so did the rest of his body.

Unpacking the contents of the bag, he'd spotted a lifeless blond lady 5ft tall dawning the robes of a shinigami probably one from the 13th division as her badge had shown. The man he'd severed his head also had the same badge on him with a seal which quickly burnt to ashes the moment he touched it. Their badges also lit up in flames and with that the rest of their body forcing the pale shinigami to keep his distance. "Spells?" He mumbled this was going to be a long day he concluded.

Atsushi calmed anger poured furiously like an exploding dynamite. Recently-2days back, within his bedroom- sleeping at a nightly hour, his senses cognized a strange but highly offensive spiritual energy that continued to linger on for quite sometime until his shut eyes leapt open in a responsive manner to imminent danger. He was quick with his feet and fast with each movement. Before the sailing arrow could meet it's aim; Atsushi's heart, The 13th division Captain had rolled out of harm's way and fell off bed, crashing down into the wooden ground with a loud bang.
He groaned lightly and raised himself off of the ground, however, before he'd brush off the thought of death, the supposed assassin dispersed and vanished like packs of dust in a stormy wind and around the same night, the same moment after the assassin vanished away, deafening screams resounded loudly, two youthful recruits lost their lives and another has yet to be seen after a momentary exchange with one of the assassins.

He gritted his teeth in fury and swore to lay his hands on these assassins. It's been of recent since death threats and elaborate traps had skyrocketed in rates and occurrences, he lost recruits from time to time, he blamed his incompetence everytime. Atsushi could easily deduce those involved in this elaborate plot to end his life and accuse his lifeless corpse afterwards for these horrendous events, and they were none other than the elders of Atsushi Clan and some bunch of people, grouping themselves up for one clichéd aim.

Present Day
News reached Atsushi's ears about the sightings of the Atsushi Clan elders within and around the woeful Rippled Dimension with some men cloaked underneath simple black hooded garment and walking away after the exchange of informations or so his -Atsushi's informant described the view he saw. He halted his inked pencil few inches away from the blank page and dropped it off beside the paperwork, on the table. He stood up from his chair and grabbed onto his zanpakuto behind him and tore through the door, flash-stepping all the way into the Rippled Dimension at breakneck pace, without saying a word to anyone nor his lieutenant. Few moments in, he'd feel the watchful gazes around him, in this forest but then again, he perceived something, an aura, a stenchful one.

Tailing this offensive spiritual energy, he quickened his pace here and there by stepping into shunpo, visibly augmenting the distance he'd encroach within a confined time.

"Hazuuuuuukiiiiiiiiiiiiii!!!!!!!!!!!"
Atsushi roared thunderously, after appearing few steps behind Hazuki and blazing bodies. The resting birds flew away in shock, he only saw the end of it all and quickly fell under the enchantment that Hazuki had been amongst the men that murdered and abducted his recruits and seated shinigami.
What did he see? Even from the distance, though he couldn't picture perfectly their faces, he still knew how his division badge appeared and recognized the bodies that lined up next to each other; Eri Han and Eichiro Nobu, the esteemed 11th and 8th seated officers of the 13th division and Hazuki dared to harm the shinigami he commanded? With a tightly frowned face that showed nothing but extreme anger and a soaring vent of spiritual energy that touched the sky, his mind was lost already to anger and not even requesting for an explanation, he unleashed the full power of his spiritual energy without leaving any lid unturned.

"Why?! Why?! Why?!"
He asked rhetorically in repeated sequences, he couldn't even think of a logical explanation to feed to Eri's mother; His Sister.

Diverting his gaze to the back where he'd heard his name called with so much ferocity. The shadow walker felt the tense pressure the shinigami was emitting press down on him as the earth around him shivered at its might. "Atsushi" he muttered taking a deep breath while tossing the shuriken he'd held to the side.

Why?! why the figure cried out, making the raging sea feel like a toddlers cry.

"Why" he pondered, wondering what he meant by such question. Nothing at this point made sense to him, first he'd found two shady shinigami deep in enemy territory now their captain, Captain Akutagawa Atsushi whom so happened to be on stand by.The lines between comrades quickly faded from his thought with rage taking its place. His reiatsu immediately manifested to match the captains own, floating his cloak and hair in the process. Tiny rock particles of rocks and leaves drifted above the earth, rumbling in thin air as if under some sort of telekinetic control before disintegrate to nothingness.

"Why?" he uttered back at the shinigami, turning over to face the captain with his hazel eyes dead of any emotions. He felt no remorse nor condolence for the captain as he'd only see his bereaved outer countenance as a facade.

"You ask me why when you stand over there prepared for war." "What was your plan Atsushi" he thundered, vanishing in a burst of Shunpo to appear adjacent to the captain. If successful, His movement would leave him in such a manner his left shoulder would only be few inches away from the captain left shoulder, while his eyes faced forward gazing away from the corpse and only at Atsushi by his side and the landscape behind him.

"What do you take me for?" He'd calmly whisper on arrival waiting for the captain to initiate any sudden move which would leave him reacting almost at top speed with a quick swing horizontal strike aimed to slice off the Shinigamis left arm.

Should the captain maintain his composure he'd use the opportunity to draw out his second blade while he awaits his explanations.

With his disheveled hair and attire adrift, and the ground constantly quivered and quaked, the minimal faults soon stretched and widened to gapping fissures. Eyes could see how angered and perturbed Atsushi was, the fleeing leaves caught within ferocious outburst of spiritual energy shredded apart into inconceivable particles of dust. The ground cratered in, that sent the sand grains and rubbles afloat. The whole forest responded in a heartbeat- Excited by the shockwaves that coursed outwards from the 13th division's captain, the trees grew restless, wriggling and whistling as if ensnared in stormy winds. Atsushi repeatedly threw rhetorical questions at Hazuki, whom, unbeknownst to Atsushi, had a puzzling look on his visage- trying to fathom why he'd grown restless and rendered nothing but hostile intent.
As with everyother individual, they wouldn't sit still with such force wearing down on them whilst their conscience greened guiltless- he responded and matched Atsushi's outburst with his and stepped in beside Atsushi, almost at the same shoulder level with few inches apart.
His eyes swung towards his left and fixed a scornful gaze at Hazuki, gritting his teeth in pure fury.

"Rikujokoro!"
It came in that point in time, his voice's audibility fell to an imperceivable state, if not necessarily close enough, one wouldn't pick up the words spoken. . . He leapt a few steps back, and hummed out the incantation, the six rods of light that suddenly ensphered Hazuki, would slam into him from all cardinals.
After halting through a dozen steps, and plunging his toes into the concrete ground; it'd concave inwards. The ferocious spiritual energy that geysered sky-high soon died down and adhered tightly to his skin. Atsushi's unarmed hands dangled beside his now-hunched body and bent knees that almost kissed the ground.

He shot himself forward, like a cheetah prancing hard on his prey. Through the direction he coursed through, everything curved inwards in a fashion as if space bent. . .
With everything forced into his speed, he maximized his shunpo technique and burst forward with a diagonal slash from his previously sheathed katana- attempt to cleave through Hazuki's body; upslope whilst slowly he began the Incantation of yet another Kidō. At this point, Atsushi's concluded the man behind the incessant captures and deaths of his recruits was none other than Hazuki- A Forgone Conclusion

Just incase I misinterpreted a thing or two pls let me know

Reacting by shifting to the side, Atsuchi attempted to dart away from him with words murmured to the silent wind. Prepared to follow his move with the worst of intentions, Hazuki came to an abrupt halt with his blade barely inches from the shinigamis cloak. His eyes widened in disbelief as the shinigami drifted further away from him. His gaze quickly fell on top his waist with eyes doused as he acknowledges the spell in effect. “Tsk” He quickly hissed, surprised he would be stopped by six rods of lights, fastened around his waist. He’d been bested he could clearly tell with his tamed eyes returned to meet the leaping captain. ` `
With palm squeezed tightly around the hilt of his Zanpaktou, he instinctively applied a little force in retaliation, which slowly manifested cracks on top the six rods of light. It wasn’t in his nature to be all brute force but the more time he wasted the more his enemy drifted off.

Successfully more cracks manifested on-top the glowing frame, spreading out like webs on an aged kitchen cabinet. However, before any significant damage could be done, the spell quickly held firm to its purpose demarcating itself from cheap pallor tricks performed by Shinigamis who considered themselves mages.

“An Incantation” The shinigami suspected well aware of the boundaries of most conventional spells being a kido corps grandmaster. He could clearly feel the difference in power which amazed him even more.

In that case he whispered, losing his grip around his sword, with his reiatsu slightly spiked to clamor an angry vortex of wind around him. Immediately his reiatsu took the shape of blue ribbons garnered around him in spiraling formation. They rose from the ground up, carving deep trenches into the soil as they coiled up to form a dome around him. His opponent had also at the time adopted a funny pose akin to that of a leaping tiger.

However, while his opponent was about to claim the wind, the pale shinigami quickly let loose a blast of reiatsu capable of sending most tree flying off to the distance while their roots vanished deep into the earth. The once fruitful earth would sit barren around him with 3 rings of ascending craters lined around him in a coincidental gap of 5 meters each. He’d appear free of his binding just at the nick of time.

Assuming his opponent physical enough to transcend through such minor blast, he’d duck his head to the side to allow his blade veer off to his right as visibility would sit a little fuzzy from the unsettled wind. He’d imagine his opponent would suffer more of the obscurity being faced with a wall of mixed elements earlier on. However, he wouldn’t leave anything to hope not with his life on the line.

Immediately he’d pull his second blade as he shifts further away from the target pointing the tip at him as if accusing him of something. “Shakkaho” he’d mutter sending a red ball of flames directly into the path of his rib with his trajectory speed and possible body displacement in normal conditions calculated to a scary accuracy.

Should he remain in his path a hit would be almost inevitable at the point of rest. However, that wasn’t all the captain intended as he’d immediately air bump his nape with the pommel of his right blade while silently reciting a Two-fold incantation: "Black and white net. Twenty-two bridges, sixty-six crowns and belts. Inferno and Pandemonium, the sea barrier surges, March on to the south!"

His blade would flourish with reiastsu and so would he as a second ball of Shakkaho this time fully charged aimed once again at the captain’s foot, capable of creating an even bigger explosion which could possibly engulf him in an expanding heat wave should he be found dead at the spot.

Absolutely miniscule, to an extent it'd be hyperbolic to refer to such drifting time as a 'striding moment', the world tilted in yays and nays and went blindingly bright within those passing moments, he'd feel time halt in the confines of his mind --- The spiralling spire of spiritual energy that rose through the fluffy white clouds, like a vortex of blue ribbons, carved disdainful imprint on Atsushi's mind and left an image in his gaze; reflecting visibly on his eyes.
Under his breath, Atsushi mumbled some words that sawed into this world six light rods that'd inhibit the Captain's movement once slammed into his midsection. Atsushi viewed into Hazuki's expression and felt his surprise about the moderate strength it held, perhaps, above his expectations? But in reverse, Atsushi's stare came off to glance at the cracks that streaked across the rods under subtle pressure from Hazuki.

The air -still moaning as if in a crypt -suddenly hung dense and owned a rather toxic smell to it, the clustered dust particles, swirled into air and wafted freely under its guidance, the encircling bird perched down on a tree despite the rush of emotions and chaos that gradually inclined.
He hauled his stride as intended and dragged off concrete beneath his toes- same toes that killed off his momentum and sturdily pressed hard on the ground for a rebound.
His chest and head slouched while his arms swung lifelessly. Few moments gone, He'd boom towards Hazuki while reaching for his sloping sheathed blade ---
However, to Atsushi's greatest scare, his attempt fell through woefully with a casual dodge. This left his body unbalanced and up for grabs by whomever harboured malicious intent.

"Huh?"
He exclaimed unknowingly with gapping eyes that spelt confused'. He was visibly shocked by
how comfortably he averted damages despite knowing fully well those rods wouldn't hold. An air of confusion surrounded him only for his senses to zap back into reality after a point blank blast from a dampened Kido force, he curled up and rolled away but if any longer did he lay helpless, he'd swear at his destiny for being fickle.
He turned his blade into a reverse-grip and jagged it into the ground inorder to restore his stance from any further hurtling. Had it not been for the hugging reiatsu, he might have suffered some damages around his ribcage- perhaps, a seared scar that smarted slightly.

Before he'd gather himself properly, his senses warned of an impeding danger. His eyes whipped hastily towards Hazuki and saw a visible glow flowing through himself and his blade. Another Kido? He'd tell upon a single glance, and feel the surge of his spiritual energy within.
"Bakudo #81 : Da~~~"
His voice silenced, incapable of speaking anymore. His countenance shivered, his bangs dangled and drifted. . . . No exceptional reason for such, he braced himself but in that instant, tears flushed down his cheeks, he held in his breath- kneeling down with both hands on the hilt of the stabbed blade, staring down regrettably and cursing down on himself harshly for his incompetence.
- I'd take this explosion as a reward for my weakness, my incompetence, my naivety as a captain and then, I'd slay the man before me with this very sword I hold -
He spoke spasmodically and sobbed, each words he spoke weighed down on him. His tearful voice presented outward the dark sadness within chest, he wished time would reverse and give him the opportunity to undo everything- his memories went to cousin, reminiscing on some past events.
He'd return his gaze to Hazuki and blared out agonizingly.
"You, mongrel! I'll rip every fibre of your skin out. Your soul would yearn for destruction. You'll burn, resuscitate, burn and resuscitate eternally. Your death will not come and I'll make you beg for it- This. . . This will be the payment of your sins and I swear this until my breath runs cold"
Resounding with his every might and strength, he screamed in pain and tears, these words trailed all round the forest in thin echoes. For the first time, Akutagawa Atsushi's wrath climaxed. . . And then ensued in a massive explosion from the shakkaho that coursed abruptly through the winds.

And in the searing furnace, a plasmic blade slit through and out of it. Atsushi's erect silhouette was cast upon the aftermath of the rageful explosions, sending at random wafting sparks and embers that added colours to the already colorful field.

But. . . . The Rippled Dimension didn't take lightly the destruction of things within. It was as if it had consciousness and it breathed life. Vines and thorns slithered outwards from the neighbouring trees, they curled and moved, they didn't slow but as steady as sun's own crawl to the horizon. Perhaps, The Rippled Dimension wanted more in order to dish out. . . Everywhere sat in tranquility except Atsushi whom was within the massive explosion.

It's fine. Same on my end, Gomen!
