Standing about 6.5ft tall, Aoshi can be said to be a very tall man, with long legs and a pale skin. His cold Piercing blue eyes with which he stares down at those he has shown superior strength to. His light grey hair which run all the way down the back of his head above shoulder length, with a smooth clean shaven face. He goes by with Shihakushō with an insignia of his family crest draw at the back.
Aoshi Itachi, is cold and emotionless. He bears a calculating nature that shows itself in his high observational intelligence, a reticence to say more than is necessary and a demeanor that rarely shows emotion. He rarely smiles except when smirking with confidence to intimidate in his supreme combat and tactical ability.
Aoshi's History dates back to his first arrival at soul society with his eyes set for vengeance. He found solace when he was accepted and given a chance to prove himself by his former captain(Aniks) who in the end turned out to be his cousin, and so it became revealed to the Shinigami that he was of a royal blood that was cast away because of his grandfather's treacherous ways. It all began like this....a story between two brother's torn apart by war....
Jelarthna Daermon and Karinthian Eljoran are sons of King Quel’shu Nilgarthor with Jelarthna the elder who ruled during the peak of the wars with the Pheles demon tribe. At Quel'shu’s death in the middle of combat, Jelarthna as per traditions, was crowned King and decided to sign a peace treaty with the demon races to stop what have been over two millennia of war. Karinthian was vehemently against it —refusing to sit at table with the killers of his father and hating Jelarthna for considering it— and garnered support from the staunch members of the great families to make their position heard. They quickly drew support from people who had lost loved ones to the hazards of war, especially at the hands of the demon army.
It resulted into the a civil war, one that was unsurprisingly short seeing the protesters had to face the military might of both the kingdom and the demon races, resulting in many of the families losing their status and Karinthian arrested. By laws of the Kingdom and by virtue of his high birth, Karinthian would be stripped of his title of ‘Noble Prince’ and forbidden from stepping foot on the palace’s grounds while his supporters would be jailed to serve time, and it was done as thus. However, Karinthian came to the castle, demanding that Jelarthna steps down from the throne and acknowledges him as King so he could ‘put the demon spawns in their filthy place’, breaking countless laws in the process, insulting the honour of the demons present, and prompting Jelarthna to demand him seized.
Unfortunately, Karinthian did not come peacefully, killing half the court until Jelarthna himself stepped in to quell his efforts. Drawing a weapon or summoning powers against the King’s guards in court is tantamount to threatening the King, a crime punishable by death and as such, the council went for the death penalty during the trial. As King however, Jelarthna overrode the ruling and gave his brother his life in exchange for banishment, a fate he is to suffer along with his family.
Many of Karinthian’s supporters fled the kingdom before they were arrested, re-joining with him to form The Resistance on the outside, an army of insurgents joined in their hatred of the alliance. Jelarthna cut off ties with his brother, forbidding his name being mentioned within his presence. It is rumoured that he also grudgingly indicated that while he was not willing to lay a hand on his brother, he would acknowledge that ‘accidents’ are prone to happen often. This gave the demon race the freedom to hunt him down and Karinthian had been on the run ever since.
A pair of first class demons did catch up with The Resistance’s hideout, killed many of the top leaders including Karinthian and destroying the structure of The Resistance for good after more than two centuries of its existence. Among the survivors was Karinthian’s only remaining grandchild whose father, Karinthian’s son, died in a previous raid. Said child was sent away from the hideout seconds ahead of the demon pair’s arrival in the company of a guardian tasked with ensuring that the child lived to carry on the struggle on bringing down the now cemented Elvira-Pheles alliance that has been strengthened by the marriage of Maeli Elvira and Amaimon Pheles.
This guardian, Merrivale, was protector of Karinthian’s son, gifted to the boy just as his partner, Jalavier —commonly called Frost, was the protector of Jelarthna’s daughter, Maeli. Merrivale brought the child up in complete ignorance of his history, a necessary precaution to avoid alerting the demon pair to him….Thus Aniks and Aoshi were born.
After the all out war between the Shinigami and then the Quincy, it was said that no one knew the whereabouts of Aniks, and till date he was never heard from again. Now Aoshi was left with little or no choice but ascend the throne to take over from where his brother stopped, and to join the 2nd Division after the resurrection of the Gotei 13 and all that was left of it anyway.... The Shinigami would now fully embrace his name and title in other to live up to the expectations of his brother Aniks as new captain of the 2nd Division....For it is only after a war can a growth occur.
