The encounter with chaos [Hikaru vs Aoishi and Midori]

The empty space splits into two, revealing a dark void in the open air. From this void came a man who easily stepped out onto the ground of this peaceful and quiet vicinity, upon his full appearance the void closed itself behind him. He turned around, taking a good look at the so called soul society guarded by the men in blacks. The gentle breeze blew softly against his muscular 6ft tall body, his physique was very much visible and noticeable due to his clothing. A ragged sleeveless high collar open white jacket to reveal his chest and packs, white ragged trousers reaching his ankle with a black boot with white stripes as design. Visible on his waist was a black belt with a big shark head as design on its front, his hands covered in a sleeveless short black gloves. His physical looks spoke nothing of being human like, Arrancar are known for attaining human like appearance but his was more of an hybrid between human being and his specie, Sharks.

The fins running along his arms and elbows as well as on the back of his head, quickly gave away the fact his human appearance wasn't completed. His skin was pale blue unlike most Arrancar who even had human skin color, his eyes were distinctly different than normal, white and round like a sharks. Even though people would be unable to pinpoint his exact specie, no doubt it is easy to guess he is among the sea mammals. His wet looking curly blue hair was packed backwards as usual, reaching his shoulders, one of the few normal human features he had.

" Now . . . Where could he be?"

He spoke softly, revealing his dangerously sharp shark teeth. His vision jumped from one place to another, his normal shark instinct on high alerts as if in search of a prey. And yes indeed he was, a newly Arrancar had gone rogue due to its hunger, some how managed to enter the realm of pure souls in order to feed. Every hollow wishes to become an arrancar but one thing they don't know is, the stronger you become, the bigger your hunger and urges. Something not all could control at first except specially trained by the Espada, this particular Arrancar didn't stick around for training. Ran to soul society and managed to empty one of it's district, the shark wasn't exactly sure if they evacuated or the Arrancar lay waste to them all. Although he could only see some few bodies on the ground, shinigami among meaning the men in black already knew about this even though it just recently occurred in other words by now they must be aware of his appearance as well.

" Finally . . . There you are."

The shark spoke with relief, he was already getting tired of his search. His eyes gazed at the newly Arrancar who was very much still unstable, he stood 8ft taller and muscular than the shark. His skin white in color with black linings, his remaining mask covered his left eye unlike the shark's own which formed three lines like gills on both sides of his neck. The shark walked towards the unstable arrancar, his mission was either to retrieve the newly Arrancar if stable or kill if otherwise. As if the newly Arrancar could already sense the shark's killing intent, he turned around growling with intention of not backing down. The shark was definitely pleased by this, he smiled as his right hand pointed forward.

"You don't have to do this. Just some few more souls and I can control it." the newly Arrancar tried begging for its life, an act that wiped the smile off the shark's face. "You're also an arrancar, remember the days you couldn't control your hunger as well?"

"Hmmmm," the shark gave the impression as if he was trying to remember those days . . . "Nope, my hunger has always been under control."

With that last word, a crescent blue energy fired from the shark's right hand, none other than bala. It blasted a hole through the newly Arrancar skull who had no chance of even reacting to the attack, his lifeless body dropped to the ground immediately. The shark walked towards the body, getting closer. Once again the streets was silent and empty, standing over the body of his fellow Arrancar his mind pondered on whether to go home or explore this world. He is a predator after all, unlike the dead Arrancar, he was constantly hungry but in control at all times. He looked over his left arm which had the number four tattoo on it, this shark was no other than the apex predator of Hueco Mondo, Ishidate Hikaru.

It came early, Aoshi laid still on his bed clearly still recovering mentally in terms of a battle, his spirit was crushed in his previous mission. His body was all healed up, and all that was left was his mental status. He was still in shock and his fighting sprit broken. His Quarters lay directly opposite to the Captain's, an executive suite. Although Aoshi's bed was large enough to accommodate his long body and was also designed for comfort, the tall man had little desire for it.

He second guessed attending to the daily order which reflected his name, rank and the order of the day. Aoshi cursed lightly under his breath as he crossed-checked for any anomaly, a hope for a mistake, this was because the Elvira was no where ready to take on such a rigorous Journey. His sleeveless shihakushō dangled as his body greeted the evening breeze.

This was the Elvira king making his appearance for the first time since his encounter with a Bunto. Aoshi reasoned that if Aniks were around he would have taken a different approach on some certain things that bothered him as regards to the division and ruling a Kingdom. The underworld grew restless with Aoshi barely able to keep the peace, the alliance between the Daemon race was on a brink of collapse, they needed Aniks. The sole of his feet came to a stop what appeared to be a deserted soul district, the report stated that a reiatsu pulse and a disturbance originated from the spot he stood, if not close by.

Still no sign of Midori, the Vice-Captain requested his assistance in the look out, clearly the 6th seat didn't get the memo. ?What's this feeling? He thought as he placed his left hand below his chin.

It was just another calm day to relax in the park bordering his division. He often came to this location to slack off in style. He lay with arms crossed beneath his head to create more comfort. The leaves under the tree shone brightly. Its colour radiating as it blocks the sun's rays. It wasn't as breezy as other days, but the nature of the tree kept the temperature cool for Midori. His smile appeared as he closed his eyes from taking in the beauty of the park. His spot. He was at peace with himself from the successful completion of his last mission at the noble kingdom.
He let out a long sigh as he was about to begin his 2 hour long luxurious nap. This, however, was interrupted by the hell butterfly that carried a message from his Vice captain. The feeling of de jà vu he got made him sit upright and stare at the hell butterfly with shocked eyes as it went by. Flapping its wings as it flew from his left side to his right. Carrying a probable terrible news.

The hell butterfly from his vice captain requested his assistance with the information on the given location and its weird happenings.

Well. That was a good zero seconds..... OK OK. I'm on my way Vice cap'n.

Standing up calmly with his eyes closed and mind set on the task, Midori dusts his sleeveles shihakusho. The tall, dark skinned shinigami strapped his zanpakuto which lay with him. He took one more look at the beauty the park held before he set out to the specified location.

According to the report. A pulse from an unidentified reiatsu signature was picked up in the far northern section of eastern rukongai. He is quite farmiliar with that area as it was a location often used for training and battle to the death. It was deserted. Abandoned buildings at the brink of complete collapse. Dusty old shacks. And open spaces.
It was a long journey that took most of the day to arrive at his destination. Walking through the abandoned area with the force of the wind making his shihakusho flutter rapidly with each step. His left arm rests on his hilt to keep it from dangling unnecessarily as he moved through tight corners of the compacted buildings leaving little passages. Using shunpo to get to a higher ground on one of the shorter buildings.

He sighted his vice captain observing with all seriousness. This made Midori to giggle a bit. He jumped down from the building and slowly jogged to the right side of his vice captain.

Taking a deep breath the moment he stops, he turns to him.

Vice Captain. I rushed here the moment I got your message.

Hikaru walked over the pile of lifeless bodies that the now dead Arrancar had killed, taking each step with ease as if he was in a friendly territory. No one had found him yet, he had expected the shinigami to have sent some kind of first team response or something, his reiatsu was pretty high enough not to be noticed by their high techs. Anyways their lateness didn't mattered, as a predator he is used to waiting for his unlucky victims although the more he was kept waiting the more brutal his actions becomes. Somehow having killed the unstable arrancar, his blood lust just wants more and more hence his patience and wait.

Hikaru found a wooden rocky chair by one of the tattered buildings, he took said chair and dragged it over to streets before taking his seat as the chair rocked back and forth. His eyes shut closed as if asleep, he could feel the gently breeze graze his face. The warm morning sun shined nicely enough to not be an hindrance, the vicinity was just a perfect place for the shark's future outburst. Even in such a relaxed manner, his natural senses as a shark was in search of a prey. So he waited, there's no need to be stressed out for something inevitable.

His mind played several scenarios of what could occur, pondered on the kind of response team that could be on their way. Well not that it really mattered to him but it was just an act to pass time, he was getting bored of waiting. Before he knew it, he fell asleep, his head raised backwards against the chair as his face faced the sky, his hands rested on top the chair's arms rest. This wasn't his usual habit but some how his senses wasn't giving him the feelings of threat or danger, hence the over relaxation. By now the warmth of the sun had reduced, the evening carried a more noisy wind than that of the morning. Most would find it stupid of the Arrancar to sleep off just like that but said sleep allows him to conserve his stamina which would have been used up thinking of what would happened, sometimes even waiting for an unknown situation can be a huge drain to the body's energy. So what better way to preserve said energy than just sleeping it off. After all, time tends to move faster when one's asleep.

So while the men in black were busy wasting their energy to locate him, he was busy dozing off to conserve his. It took longer than expected but eventually it happened, Hikaru's eyes slowly opened and met with the blue calm sky and white clouds, the sun shined on his face but it wasn't that blinding especially for someone like him. His senses had picked up something, presence of life in the vicinity. He could smell them, hear their voices and footsteps, feel their electromagnetic field but still his natural animal instinct wasn't giving him any feeling of danger or threat. So he sat there and closed his eyes back, waited for whomever was around to approach him first.

A few hours passed since Aoshi arrived at the eastern part of Rukongai, He had patiently waited the arrival of an assistant from the Shinigami he had sent a hell butterfly for.

Aoshi roamed the streets looking for some kind of clue as to what set up the alarm over at the Headquarters, and just as he was about questioning one of the residence of the district he was in, the Shinigami arrived. Late as usually, but the Elvira could careless of his punctuality and so he began.

Excuse me, I seem to have been lost, am looking for a district that may have suffered destruction from an unknown force. Would you be of a little help? He asked meticulously after his knock on the door had been answered.

The door was opened by an elderly man in his late 70s, his bones and body structure were already showing signs of aging. The elderly man looked over at Aoshi with a suspicious look wondering what a Shinigami would be doing at his very own door. "Yes, if you could please head over towards the end of this town, by your left.....the first town you see....am certain that you would find the monster you are looking for. The old man said with tearful eyes as he looked into Aoshi's eyes with all sincerity.

The 2nd Division Vice captain turn over to make his leave, but was held back by the old man. "I wouldn't go there if I were you!" The old man said cowering in fear while trying to reassure Aoshi that he threaded on the wrong path.

The dusk was almost upon them, as Aoshi finally arrived at the end of his rigorous Journey. He looked over his shoulder for Midori before he entered the slaughter land. It was an epitome of death, bodies laid scattered around the road. The builds laid in ruins, some almost left without a foundation while the others were still in flames. The stench of death resonated in the air and Aoshi could feel the could breeze of death blow pass his body, He shivered.

Slowly, and Carefully, the Shinigami advanced. The trace of reiatsu he followed showed no sign of movement, but surely it was a reiatsu that was greater than his. Was he dealing with the work of an Espada? The obvious question kept coming to mind. Aoshi came to a stop when he came across the source of the large reiatsu.

"You are.......!" Aoshi said with utter bewilderment. That Arrancer was the very Arrancer Aoshi fought on his first visit to Las Nochas.

His vice captain appeared to be less concerned about his lateness and more satisfied with his arrival as he turned towards the door of an old looking house. His knock was replied by the trembling voice of an elderly man. As he opened the door, his face alone said a lot about what has been going on. Looking at the population of the area, one would know something terrible had happened. It was still unknown as to why this man stayed behind.
The man's fingers were the first thing Midori spotted as he struggled to pull his door open while combating his own physical strength. Slim and wrinkled fingers slowly shaking as he drew the door back to reveal a troubled looking man. His expression wore the tale of a war victim or more of a sole survivor of a terrible battle. He replied without hesitation to the Vice Captains question and also threw in a warning as the two shinigami were about to take their leave. This shook Midori up a bit as he looked down following behind his superior. He looked up at the back of the tall white haired Elvira as he graced the path with his presence, in his search to permanently eradicate the problem. Midori gripped his hilt as his left couldn't relax on them any longer.

The rest of the journey was long and quiet as both shinigami walked, one behind the other, for a few kilometers before approaching the entrance into what looked like the devils playground. The creeping darkness as the sun began to set. Giving the area an unforgiving aura. The smell of dead bodies lightly mixed in the air really set up the mood for the shinigamis. But this all were nothing in comparison to the weight of the unfamiliar reiatsu. He was sure his vice captain could feel it as it was probably greater than his. Even rivalling a captain's. It felt like walking through liquid. The air was heavy... Thick... Murky. The feeling made Midori gulp and tighten his grip on his hilt even more. His vice captain turned to him. Almost as if asking if he was ready and assuring him that it would be no problem at the same time. This made him relax a little. The last sweat trickling from the right side of his face and down his neck. The vice captain turned and proceeded further into the dead land. Midori watched the vice fearlessly walk into the area and admired his unshaken courage before he followed suit.
Dead bodies, buildings engulfed in undying flames and buildings completely rid of their former appearance. This was the sight the shinigami met. It was terrible. Midori's eyes widened. Darting from side to side taking in a greater view of the carnage. It was an unimaginable scene. Midori's thoughts were immediately cut off as his vice captain immediately came to a stop. Midori traced his unforgiving eyes to a figure that sat a few feet before them. The source of all this carnage. An arrancar. Beastly. Terrifying. He appeared to be the humanoid of some breed of shark. A reef shark? A great white? It didn't matter. Midori stood on guard, eyes widened. He had heard of arrancars but this one matched no description of them. This was a monster. He made the stories he heard sound like a happy fairytale.

His gills, protruding fins, grey-blue skin, unblinking dead eyes. Midori's eyes danced around his features. His vice captain was not phased, casually asking who the man was. This was a feat Midori could not hope to portray at the moment. Pulling out his scabbard, he holds it out. Hilt pointing to his right and tip to his left. He whispers...

Norowareta. Lend me your strength.

Reach through the heavens and latch onto the crescent moon. The demons rejoice as the heavenly bodies wail. Now tangle, reveal and destroy, Norowareta

His blade briefly growing light green. Stretching into a pitch black scythe. Spinning it along its center of gravity. Rotating it at a great speed around his body before coming to a dead stop, pointing its blade at the arrancar.

Tch...

The presence the Shark was feeling drew closer, his eyes opened slowly as he sat up straight, his head raised up only to see two shinigami. Both men in black stood some few feets away from him, one was light skinned and the other as dark as his uniform. The light skin shinigami gave the expression of surprise, uttering an unfinished sentence. The dark skin on the other hand was rather smart or just too conscious, quickly resulting to releasing what shinigami call Shikai. His normal katana shined with a bright green light, followed by some body motion from the shinigami the katana transformed into a dark scythe which was immediately pointed at Hikaru who still calmly sat down watching how things would unfold. The light skin shinigami didn't follow his partner footsteps, he didn't even draw his sword despite being in front of an enemy. Either he was over confident in his powers, just damn strong, or he was just the peaceful type. Either way none of them made the move to attack, but if Hikaru was to attack first that would only make him look like the villain here whereas he was just there to have fun.

They had kept the shinigami waiting for so long and they seem to intend to keep him waiting, being a predator that hunts Hikaru is used to waiting when his prey ain't standing just right in front of him. The Arrancar took to his feet after the dark skinned shinigami released, his full height now in display for them to see. Without uttering a word or sign, upon getting up Hikaru unleashed the full force of his reiatsu. A pale blue energy engulfed his body skyrocketing only to shape into a gigantic shark head, the pressure from his reiatsu alone was great enough to crack the ground beneath him as well as shatter the chair he sat on. The reason behind this action wasn't to flaunt his great power but rather it was just a distraction to better ensure his next action, due to the great level of his reiatsu that could even challenge a captain, any one below him would be strike with fear and numbness. Mentally they would be unable to think properly, distracted by the terrifying amount of force weighing them down. That's just how good of a control Hikaru had over his reiatsu, but even that was just still a tip of the iceberg compared to what the Shark could do with his reiatsu alone.

How long this distraction works wouldn't matter much to someone like Hikaru, even if it was just for a split second that's more than enough for the Shark's true intention to manifest. Upon unleashing his reiatsu on both Shinigami, Hikaru's hands bolted forward in a quick and rapid assault. Relying on his great speed which was quite fast, he launched series of punches into the empty air towards the shinigami without leaving any gap or opening. This weren't just ordinary series of punches, each punch launched a crimson blue hardened energy which is known as bala, thus firing multiple barrages of bala like bullets aimed at the light skin shinigami. The speed of bala alone is terrifying moving twenty times faster than the already fast cero coupled with his target standing just some few feets away, along with the distraction his reiatsu would create if the light skin shinigami reiatsu level was below his, all this would further increase the chances of his attack being successful. And if successful, the multiple barrages of bala would bombard the light skinned shinigami, the sheer number of the bala alone would be overwhelming as if the attack came from his left, right and front, each bala packing enough concussive force greater than his already strong cero.

The combined force of all multiple shots would literally bypass almost any if not all obstacles in its path, the light skinned shinigami's bones would be literally obliterated all the way to his internal organs, pushing a hole through his body if one particular spot is hit more than once which is likely to happen due to the multitude of the attack. His arteries, veins and organs would be ruptured thus causing massive internal bleeding which is more than enough to put the shinigami in a near death state not to add the threat of multiple holes in his body, but that still wouldn't be the end result, the concussive force of the combined bala is enough to launch whatever remains of the shinigami's body several meters away and cause a blunt trauma to the head if he still survive such an attack.

Such level of injuries would definitely result to almost all kinds of biological dysfunction in the body like having problems in breathing, the internal bleeding and loss of blood causing hemorrhage. Such level of brutality right from the start, it's almost as if Hikaru wanted his target dead but that wasn't the case. His brutality sterns from a lot of reasons like his natural habit of wanting to punish preys that kept him waiting, second the fact that the shinigami didn't even act cautious or ready for battle like his partner made Hikaru weary, that being the reason why he attacked the light skinned first. Just in case the shinigami really was that strong to still be comfortable despite sensing the shark's reiatsu, Hikaru was hoping to use the first attack tactical advantage to end that possible threat even though his animal instinct wasn't alarming him of a serious threat. Either way this would rather serve as a lesson to both of the shinigami and show them just what kind of opponent stood before them, one that shouldn't be underestimated or given an opportunity to attack at all. Because each attack would be dangerously as brutal if not more brutal than this, indicating the level of bloodlust the shark is harbouring within himself.

Aoshi's Facial appearance changed from a look of surprise to that of an over due anger. The stench of corpses filled his nose, but all that would be discarded from thought as the Arrancer rose to his feet.

There was a saying that once a person is beaten once, he grows and matures, capable of out growing such let down. Past experience and Encounter with the Arrancer and a certain Quincy had thought the Vice captain the value of always having his guard up. Out of the usual statistics, Aoshi with his genius intellect could hazard a guess as to the favoured pattern of attack the Arrancer employed. A surprise attack was in play, having fallen a victim to the sneaky beast in his time as a 4th seat.

"Midori step back" He said casually as the Elvira took some steps backwards at the very moment the Arrancer rose to his feet. The beast would make a show of reiatsu flaunting it as he deemed fit which to a Shinigami of Midori's level would be rendered immobile, but for Aoshi, it had little effect. Aoshi's instinct was on mark, his mind focused as he suspected that the beastly creature would just not raise his reiatsu without any significant reason. A distraction seemed the most feasible option, or was it to halt the 6th seat's movements? The answer to his questions would be made known to the Vice-Captain as the Arrancer.

The Arrancer thrust his elbow backwards in such a way that it was easier for the beast to bolt his hand forward releasing barrages on both Shinigami. It was at the moment when the Arrancer motioned his hand backwards, Aoshi knew that a Cero or Bala was in order.

His Shunpo brought him to the adjacent side of were the Arrancer stood, about 6meters away. The barrage of bala met with an empty space but was still able to cause much damage to the building directly opposite and Facing the Arrancer.

Tch.....annoying Bala" Aoshi's body began to glow red as he initiated his response. "Geki[1]" Vanishing from sight utilizing his Shunpo to its fullest as it brought him to the left side of the Arrancer. He figured that he would attempt to paralyze the beast, keeping him in place, it would feel like he his body motionless."Eshihōhaki; Hadō 63[2] Raikōho! The Vice captain generates yellow spiritual energy into his hand and forms an orb which is then fired at the Arrancer with a massive concentrated strike of energy. The effect has devastating destructive results which would give rise to 3rd degree burn and numbness of the body.
1: Incantation Abandonment (Eishōhaki)-
-A class of Kidō Incantation where the Kidō practitioner forgoes using a spoken incantation at all. While it decreases the time needed to release the Kidō, it weakens the spell. While anyone well versed in Kidō can use this technique, it is most effective when done by a skilled practitioner, otherwise the spell could utterly fail (i.e.: the spell explodes in the user's face). The most skilled experts are capable of using this technique to amazing effect.

[2] Raikōhō (雷吼炮, Thunder Roar Sear; Viz "Fiery Lightning Howl"

The arrancar sat still. Calm. As if confident of his strength. Awareness of Midori's release didn't move him the least bit.
The shark-man opened his eyes to reveal his dead, blank pupils as they moved from one shinigami to the other. He placed his hands on the arms of the rocking chair to prop himself up. Revealing his full monstrous height. He was large. A monster in fact. Stripped of his human form and left with this beastly nature.
The moment the arrancar made his attempt to rise, the words of his vice captain telling him to step back returned the shinigami back to his senses. His words were calm and collected, as if he had prepared for the man before hand. He and Midori took some steps back. Midori taking more till he could see his captain through his peripheral view.

The arrancar was now upright staring down on the two shinigami. Immediately a sudden force struck Midori, making his knees heavy. His vision became hazy. This malice-filled pressure almost suffocating him. Midori struggled to stand, as his knees bent and pressured him to the floor. This however was short lived as soon the pressure vanished. Midori stumbled and tried to keep his balance. Using his scythe to support his weight. He felt a force blow by him multiple times. He could feel the reiatsu in the object was from the arrancar. He bounced away from the path the attack followed. Midori noticed the arrancar didn't miss Midori but aimed the attack at his vice captain who had dodged. Soon his captain was out of sight but Midori noticed his body glow a red color before he disappeared. He had heard of how fast his captain was, but seeing it up close was incredible. It was hard to follow him and his shunpo required less steps. He had covered the distance between himself and the arrancar and attempted a second attack. The man was fearless and confident in his skill something Midori should practice. This was a fight between beings higher than Midori's level. Any slight mistake will cause the vice captain and him the fight. He felt like he'd just get in the way.

Oh? So you called me out to watch the fight? Pathetic as usual. Really pathetic. Why fear when you have me.

The voice from within echoed with every word. Her light tender voice housing her strict words made Midori smile.

Ah. You're right. Gripping his zanpakuto tightly he decides to quickly follow up after his vice captain.

It won't be any fun if I stand down, would it?

Stepping forward, gripping his scythe with both hands, dashes towards the arrancar. A few meters before the arrancar he begins his seige.

Hado #1: sho. Pointing his left arm towards the arrancar but directing the force to the floor before the arrancar, spiking up the dust in large quantities to obstruct his vision. He would then uses shunpo to gain higher ground. And twisting his body from left to right to produce enough force to create a heavy swing, releasing a string of reiatsu at a high speed at the arrancar below.
Second attack:
Unmei no Shiruku [Fated silk]: Norowareta is capable of emitting highly compressed thread-like energy in crescent form whenever it's swung. These threads move at great speeds as fast as Midori can run and are capable of slicing objects as large as boulders. since it's made of the user's reiatsu it can be blocked.

The light skinned shinigami took some few steps backwards as he advised his partner to do the same, a rather strange turn of event as the once less cautious shinigami now seemed extra cautious as if he had foreseen the danger which the arrancar could cause. That didn't stop the shark from proceeding with his attack, it mattered not to him if the shinigami was now cautious or could predict the future. Hikaru watched the arrancar evade his barrages of bala, a very rare feat performed only by the fastest of warriors in existence. His plan to distract the light skinned shinigami with his reiatsu proved futile as the latter wasn't even the least affected by the greater amount of energy, one could almost assume the shinigami was on the same level as the Shark. But Hikaru wasn't the type to waste time pondering on unnecessary information, what was necessary is the shinigami just gave out how fast he is meaning the predator now knew the reaction speed of his prey and would definitely adapt to it. His bala met with nothing but empty buildings in the vicinity, causing havoc as the combined power exploded sending debris and broken woods all over the place. Hikaru's eyes fixated on the light skinned shinigami, his senses on high alerts after witnessing the fast movement of the shinigami who now retaliated with an attack of his own.

Firstly the shinigami's body shined with a bright red energy, this was different from flaunting of reiatsu, secondly the shinigami used his shunpo once again appearing at the left side of the shark just some few meters away with his hands outstretched towards the shark. The red light that had engulfed the shinigami seemed to envelope Hikaru as well, a kidou spell it appears to be but a very weak one as it took no effect on the shark who was already flaunting his reiatsu at its peak to begin with. Either the spell was just for fancy or his reiatsu had nullified its effect even before it took effect, Hikaru wasn't sure neither did he bother to find out since his opponent was now beside him with what seemed to be another spell taking place.

The shinigami spoke out aloud, announcing his casting of witchcraft, this time yellow energy cracked like electricity in his outstretched hand as his reiatsu built up visibly. Hikaru on the other hand wasn't exactly standing idle while the shinigami made his move, his natural animal senses could definitely track the shinigami's speed after witnessing it once, so his left hand bolted towards his left as the shinigami appeared beside him, since his reflex was quite great and it was just a simple hand gesture it took no time at all. Another bala shot forth immediately, the advantage of bala was the lesser time required to fire it and the speed at which it moved unlike the shinigami who needs to build up energy and fire his kidou, such wasn't needed for Hikaru's energy attack. This time Hikaru aimed the bala at the energy attack in the shinigami hands, even though it was just a single shot if it collide with the shinigami's kidou it would result into an explosion since the shinigami's kidou was obviously a destructive one meaning it would go off like a bomb upon being disrupted during charging. Since bala had the superior speed here, being several times more faster than the casting time of the kidou and the speed which said kidou moves, it would hit the energy just before the shinigami launch it off in other words the shinigami would be the one to suffer the blunt explosion of both energy attack colliding at close range. The shinigami was probably hoping to use the close six meters distance between them to make his kidou more effective, but this would only work in Hikaru's favour since he opted to use bala rather than evading.

As if the light skinned shinigami performing a sneaky attack wasn't enough, his partner took the same path. Piles of dust suddenly built up around Hikaru, probably an attempt to block his vision but a shark uses more than just sight to hunt. All this while Hikaru had been ignoring the weaker shinigami, too insignificant to attract his attention but only worked to the advantage of the dark skinned shinigami. Hikaru felt a hardened energy like string hit his right shoulder, due to ignoring the other shinigami he didn't see such attack coming although no harm was caused. Either the string was meant to tie him or harm him, he wasn't exactly sure since his heirro was strong enough to fend of such attack. His head lifted up from where the string came from, looks like he had ignored his other opponent for too long as his right hand grabbed the string only to yank it down pulling whatever at the end of the string downward with great force hoping to smack said thing to the harden ground. He stopped flaunting his reiatsu, there was no need to as both shinigami somehow managed to move under its influence, rather it's time to focus said reiatsu into something more fruitful.

With his hand already stretched forward in a bid to unleash thunder upon the Arrancer. With the beast flaunting his reiatsu it made it impossible to guess what the man's next course of action were for the Elvira would be foolish to expect the Arrancer to stand idly by while he gets electrocuted.

Few more seconds to go before discharge, Aoshi would notice the Arrancer move his hand to his direction with a blue light emitting from his finger it was the same color as the last bala the Arrancer shot.

The Elvira Head would tilt his hips towards his right direction, bending as he did so with his right hand wielding the charged Kidō spell now facing the direction of the Arrancer's torso now, releasing the kidō as the blue bala blurred its way past the Elvira's slanted shoulder as he returned his body to its original posture. The roar of Thunder would echo across the district at the release of the Kidō to the Arrancar's torso. If contact were to be made, it would result to a devastating burn to both thighs of the Arrancar.....which would pose a problem to any future movement it would make.
