Las Noches

Beyond the world of the living lies Hueco Mundo; the dimension in which the Hollow and Arrancar reside. The terrain is blank, and dull - white sands stretch as far as the eye can see and the sky above remains perpetually dark. From the sand juts Las Noches, the home of the Arrancar. The structure is massive in size and white all around with one single door. You may enter, if you dare.

At the very instant a 6ft rift appeared as an inlet to the lounge, Armani's dominant foot (left) projected itself like it had a mind of it's own. The other biological structure followed afterwards as the intensity of the portal faded gradually in thin air. Perhaps it did so in harmony of Armani's influence. Coming to the leisure room was never planned or deserved, but seeing to that which disturbed his slumber was of the essence.

The only difference in Armani after seizing a new form from his resurreccion was a pale white skin and a pair of thorns aiming for the ceilings.

While few preferred the library in terms of favorites, the lounge was of course the most significant of all sections in the building. Like always, the lighting was forever dimmed to meet the taste of it's true meaning. The multiple white fluffy furniture were arranged in an eminent pattern which made other movable items look lit.

“Look you little girl, I only talked that way to you because I know I have the strength to back myself up should the need come for it, now do not mistake what I said earlier for weakness because should I cause harm....”

Reiji was high and mighty. He's voice echoed a little bit more than the faint music playing at the background. With so much fuss coming from the sea lounge, one would think there was already a bloodshed in favour of striving a war. Armani turned his gaze in 180 degrees which resulted to Reiji been caught on sight along with another being from a different race. Reiji decorated himself in a full body yukata, a robe-like garment warping the entire body but the arms. Similarly to that of Armani it had a feature of a high collar which encircled the neck.

“Disturbing the peace again aren't you, Tsukane?”

Armani redirected his gaze unto the eyes of the feminine one. What went visible to the apprehension of his mind was that the very one pertaining to the female gender appeared practically defenseless. Who knows what Tsukane would have done to the creature's state of existence or what trauma she could have endured from Tsukane's hostility alone.

“Tsukane, that's no way treat....
Don't get the wrong impression. Am presently not worried or concerned about the scene here but, neither did Celise nor Luna approved of this!”

Armani approached closer to her with an earnest stare.

“Am certain we weren't suppose to have visitors today which makes you an uninvited guest. Nonetheless you're already here aren't you? Make yourself at home but try not to finish the good stuff before Luna gets back. We wouldn't want to get involved in another scene won't we, Dollface!”

Armani called her Dollface for he knew not her name.

In the immense desert of hueco mundo, the abstract moon descended it's eternal luminance on the cold-sandfilled terrain and therefore, luminating plants and hollows in the vicinity of its lumination.

Arlon's bored state of mind, explored way deeper into the land without any particular destination in his thought. He felt like the walking dead.

"What's wrong with me? Where the hell am I even going? Looks like I'll die of this infinite boredom.......I better do something about it...... "

He said to himself in deep thought as he stopped walking. An idea came to his mind accompanied by a finger snap and in a little bit loud manner of voice, he mouthed to himself again; "That's it! A drink at the sand sea lounge wouldn't be bad I think". He decided to check the out the lounge he's been hearing about.

He conjured up a dark, unholy and unending rift. A gateway which would serve as his medium of transport to the sand sea lounge, the gaugantar gateway. His body moved into the the opening like it had been controlled by someone else for he felt an ounce of excitement boiling up in his mind though his face remained devoid and completely pale without any emotion as always.

With all appendages out of the dark rift Arlon couldn't believe what he saw. A flashy arrangement of seats, some pairs of colourful luminations and a mind soothing environment accompanied by a low volumed song playing slowly at the background. A breath taking scene as he was told, for this is Arlon's first time of visiting the lounge. He decided to take a drink, for this was why he's present at the lounge.

He was surprised as he saw an unfamiliar and unfriendly feminine entity, a shinigami who seems to have already engaged in a conversation with the colourful lazy member of las noches, Tsukane. Beside him, he saw a pale whitish gray numero in his resurrection with thorn like horns aiming for the cellings, Armani.

Hollows and shinigamis have long been foes even before Arlon who is over hundred years-old as a hollow was killed in the human world before becoming a hollow. This natural phenomenon was the source of the intense hatred arlon developed the moment he saw the feminine shinigami regardless of the fact that she looks little compared to the huge, muscular, humanoid and folkloric gillian. He noticed that his attention was being diverted to the soul reaper instead of the drink; "Oh well.. That's not why I'm here though"[/color)] he thought.

"Hey guys"

he said to Tsukane and Armani, sounding less concerned about the soul reaper as he heads for his innate reason of coming to the leisure place, a drink.

"What now?!"

Armani's throat growled as another creature reluctantly craved it's path into the lounge. The lounge was indeed populated. According to Armani's belief, “Three is already a crowd.”

“Summoning a Gargantua into the lounge? Someone's been acting a little bit extra dramatic.”

Armani withdrew his focus from the feminine one, as those grey eyes of his let go of the ardent stare. The rift bought all the attention he never sold. In spite of that, the portal was almost kin to that which he used earlier. It came in a form a translucent gate as it divide itself into two fragments, shredding an opening . However, the resemblance between this and that of Armani was that they both share a similarity in darkness.

“Luna's back!” Armani assumed diligently without a second thought. Just as a figure stepped out, little did Armani know that his assumption was bogus and the figure was no other than Arlon... Arlon Cesar.

“This room is getting crowdy. Was there an organized event I wasn't invited to...
Nevertheless, why being curious when am certain thy won't be present.”

Armani uttered deftly as his gaze was still fixed on Arlon. One could take his manner of staring very creepy.
Arlon Cesar, a colossal bizarre who appeared cloth-less as the day one was born. His enormous body could make a titan seem fodder to him.

“Hey guys!”

It was a queer form of utterance coming a humongous being.
While Arlon was of less thought about the shinigami, Armani was a bit curious.

“Why's she here all of a sudden?
What's her real deal?
What hidden underneath her sleeves?”

He was eager to acquire more information about the shinigami.

Outside Las Noches, on route to White Sand Sea Lounge
Strange... the man thought walking along the white sands of Hueco Mundo. It was his first time here but it felt as if he was here before, like deja vu turned up to eleven. His body seemed to move on its on, ever moving forward forcing him to progress through this almost never-ending desert but, even though he had been walking for what seemed like a century he knew he was nearly there, nearly at his destination.

The man wore a large black coat with fur down the trim, his arms not through the sleeves but the coat instead being held up by his shoulders, he also wore a pair of red jeans and a black t-shirt that people would argue was too tight on him as its seemed to reveal every muscle on his body. The most interesting part about him though wasn't what he was wearing but the color of his eyes, one seemed to be a light green, almost minty in color and the other a light azure almost gray.

"How much longer?" The man thought, running his right hand through his blonde, slightly messy hair "I'm sure I would'a found somethin' here already" The man's accent was broad, almost Irish but slightly deeper. It also lacked that typical 'Top o' th' morning' feel to it signifying that he was born up on the Northern part of Ireland.

Continuing to walk for roughly another five or ten minutes Kai's eyes finally fixated upon a large structure that almost looked as if were modeled after a sandcastle, only much more rounder at the base. Slowly quickening the pace into a jog, Kai entered the structure only to find the place to be a lot more prettier on the inside than what was shown outside.

"Never judge a book by it's cover eh?" He said quietly to himself gazing around the lounge before him. Pool tables, a bar, even television screens covered the room making the place as comfortable for guests as it would be for the residents. "Holy mo'er of Krista" He muttered to himself as he took another quick gaze around. "S'pose this makes up for all that walking"

He made his way over to the nearest chair and stretched his legs outwards, leaning back and resting his neck on the top of the chair. "Think I'll rest my eyes for a minute or two"

The tension within the white sand sea lounge was obvious enough to be seen, loud enough to be heard, and dense enough to be felt. The ambiance in there had tensed to such an extent that it was nearly asphyxiating. In fact, had the soft indiscriminate music playing in the background been subtracted from the room only a deafening silence would've remained alongside its lot of inhabitants, albeit soon all this was bound to change because of the ear-piercing sound of a shattered object that instantly resonated throughout the lounging area, which, coincidentally or not, would have relaxed the taut atmosphere.

Tracing the origin of the sound back from whence it came, numerous pieces of a fragmented cocktail glass would be noticed on the wooden counter next to the hand of a white-haired, and dark-skinned figure, clad in a black robe with a golden trim, whose arms were comfortably resting on the bar.

Brushing the glass shards aside with his bare hands, this individual audibly requested for another cocktail_bearing no apparent interest in neither those around him nor the commotion his supposedly clumsy actions might have caused. The bartender happened to be startled at first but snapped out of it at once, then hastily obliged to meet his patron's demands.

Usually, after an accident like this, the bartender would've immediately insisted on knowing if customers required some form of medical attention as per the lounge's code of conduct, however, knowing fully well the calibre of persons that dared to thread the grounds beneath the dome of Las Noches all for the sake of visiting the white sand sea lounge, he perished the thought. Deeming it unfeasible for a measly broken glassware to deal damage whether superficial or otherwise to the unnamed white-haired arrancar, and in truth this notion of his wasn't wrong since naturally, Uriel was not scathed in the least. Hmmm, that cocktail glass breaking definitely was no mistake. He purposely crushed it within his hand, but I can not seem to figure out why he did so. Before I'd thought he was infuriated by the ruckus whom the naive female shinigami happened to be the focal point of, but the look on his face earlier didn't suggest that he was angry at the time..so why? Perhaps he just wanted to mess with the mood of the lounge, well it's just a guess, what do I know. thought the bartender to himself, while he watched Uriel slump lower on the bar stool and lean in on the counter for support, sipping down the second cocktail more slowly than he did the first.

Later Uriel tilts his head backwards to reveal a pair of lifeless slitted golden pupils, billowing unreservedly with hostility as his bone-chilling gaze fell upon the petite, red-haired female deathgod, Uriel would've openly remarked that she did not belong there.

Fragile as you may be, I want to believe, even if your barging into this place suggests the exact opposite, that you're no fool. You appear to be under the conception that since we are not enemies then technically the that makes us allies or something, but do not be decieved, woman. coldly intoned Uriel, who pauses shortly to ensure that the words seeped in.

"Friendship"? What a repulsive joke. Underneath these domes only one thing and one thing alone matters, and it is power, which currently you're terribly lacking. Essentially, what I'm implying is that Hueco Mundo does not value the voice(s) of the weak. It never has, and it never will. So do not expect any of us to reach for your extended hand in blind acceptance because your weightless words sway no one. Reprimanded Uriel, who maintained a cold demeanour. Averting his gaze, Uriel opts to finish his drink only this time he resorts to gulping it down in one go.

What started off as a leisurely stroll through the calm sands of Hueco Mundo, to a quiet nap in Las Noches turned into quiet the nightmare as a glass shattered due to a shinigami asking to become friends with an arrancar. Kai opened his right eye to look directly across the room to where both parties sat. Although, it wasn't long before another, white haired arrancar decided to interject. Unwavering disgust could be felt from both of them, the red haired shinigami and the white haired arrancar.

A smile edging it's way across Kai's face the shinigami(?) slowly lifted himself to his feet and slowly made his way towards the bar where the white haired arrancar sat. "Come now, no need for such hostilities in a remarkable establishment such as this" The man said calmly, his eyes now closed as the warm and inviting smile grew larger, a somewhat soothing, calm aura emanating from his body, growing larger as he drew closer.

"Get the lady at that table and this gentleman a drink on me please barkeep" Opening his eyes to reveal a deep blue color in both, Kai would take a set next to the white haired arrancae. "Th' names Kai, kinda new 'round here" He spoke, the smile never fading from his face even as he sat down. "Take it ya don't get many of 'em around here?" he asked, motioning over to the shinigami, before ordering himself a drink.

Uriel stares at Kai for a while.
Heterochromia? He thought. Noting the color difference in the shinigami's eyes. Then he averts his gaze, reluctantly giving his name in spite of the fact that he wasn't obliged to do so. Perhaps the shinigami's appealing aura had gotten the better of him or maybe given Kai's manner of approach he felt there really wasn't any reason to be unnecessarily discourteous. Lifting a wine glass up to his lips, Uriel pauses at some point to ask Kai's reason(s) for 'gracing' The Lounge with his presence.

Into the lounge another gargantua spread open, offering nothing more than a droning groan as space warped to accommodate the new arrival of an Arrancar of considerable strength, at least that was what could be garnered from his presence. The man was wearing white uniform pants with the ends stuffed into heavy boots and the typical white coat with black trim, open with the sleeves rolled up revealing his bare chest. Along his shoulder a long red braid fell down with his bangs reaching down and towards his teal eyes. Tied to his back was what some might recognize as his zanpaktou, a red, pleated umbrella with a dark bamboo shaft and a quite polished silver tip. After a moment, he struck his eyes about the room, taking note of the other presences before moving towards the bar to have a seat.

What to drink...what to drink...?

Rey pondered to himself, looking at the various drinks behind the bar pondering which one to retrieve.

It was somewhat surprising that Kai's simple aura trick had worked on the arrancar. He was mainly under the impression (giving previous circumstances) that arrancar were emotionless and cruel, but in this instance he was wrong. Maybe this particular arrancar was in-tune with his emotions and that was why it worked, although giving the way the man had spoke his name, he could sense some reluctance in it.

Uriel had taken a sip of his wine before asking Kai why he had come to Las Noches "Ya know, boredom mostly and 'cuz I haven't spent much time with the other half" He replied, giving a smile before he felt the presence of another approaching the bar. Time for test two, Kai thought, before placing his glass to his lips and began to shift the aura he was giving off, this time it would feel cold, but not uncomfortable instead it would feel like a wave of sadness would wash over the entire place.

How this worked was that Kai's reiatsu would give off slight pulses that react to the brains neurons and pass a somewhat communication channel that would automatically force the memory of that particular emotion to the front of their mind and make them feel that. The more someone has felt the emotion the stronger the response, so if someone was easy to anger, Kai could trigger this response and cause a fight to break out at any point, same with someone dealing with depression, Kai could make this feeling one hundred times worse.

Being a man of science, Kai would never pass up an opportunity for experimentation, and seeing as he was feeling bored lately, decided to take this time to educate himself on arrancar and how far he could push the limits of his and their capabilities when it comes to memory and emotions.

Is that so? asked Uriel rhetorically.

Narrowing his eyes, Uriel's thinking became inclined towards the subtle change in the feel to Kai's spritual presence and what it meant practically. Ever since Kai arrived at the Lounge the temperament of his reiatsu had been constantly fluctuating. Wouldn't he be a darn fool to think that Kai was not deliberately causing this phenomenon? Notwithstanding the strangeness of these acts, what was even more strange was the nature of the intent behind them. Uriel hadn't once noticed a shred of ill-intent from Kai each time he'd given off reiatsu, which begged the question; what really was Kai's endgame?

Uriel, first, calmly placed his emptied wine glass on the counter just before dispassionately stating that if what Kai had said was the truth, that he'd come to the Lounge simply to alleviate his boredom, then he had come to the wrong place to seek entertainment.

Uriel soon proceeds to alight his seat, thanking Kai for the drink.
The emotions Kai attempted to induce in Uriel never surfaced because to begin with Uriel is an apathetic fellow who doesn't even believe 'emotions' exist, so ion think he'd be affected much by this.
