The day was bright as ever with the sun at its apex, a tall shadow stood as an interference between the sun ray and the low astonishing garden. The Cherry, it was blessed with a beauty so much so that it dances in the sun light, with each petals radiating the beauty of its creator.

Breathing in the scent of the Cherry, Aoshi made his way out of his quarters in a haste to catch up with his fixed appointment. Orderliness was the watch word of every member of the 2nd Division. Down at the regulating office whose task was to issue out and create the daily order, Aoshi's task and duty for the day would be in a form of training. The 2nd Division Vice-Captain had no idea why he was pitched in with the 5th seat of the 7th, Perhaps it may be to teach the young lad a lesson.

Clad with his Sleeveless shihakushō as well as his zanpackutō firmly held on his right hand, the Elvira began his stroll to the southern part of Soul society deep within the 7th Division.

The arena was a desert. It was a terrain that was blessed with sands. Boulders lay facing each other in a sequential manner, and deep within the desert the Elvira stood. Looking at it from a bird view angle, it would look like an ant stuck within a sea of sands. It was clear when he arrived that he was the first on scene with no trace of any reiatsu signal but him within a certain radius.

The Elvira king would sit on one of the boulders as he awaits the arrival of the unknown Shinigami.

Far outside the Seventh Division barrack is that amorphous, desolated desert which lies quiet in a remote place where few feared to walk upon. And where many spoke about with reverence of utmost facts, facts about voices of dead combat warriors that had fell in battle in the desolated desert. However, the once boundless, premier swordsman whose name no lips dared speak aloud. And who gnaws hungrily for battle in inconceivable, unlighted solitude
through years of combat amidst the
unmuffled, maddening sounds of the wind appeared from one of the pillars of sand.

Sporting on his regular attire, Wuji walked boldly as the wind gently caresses his blue gi in ways he couldn't fathom. Unknown to any spiritual being, Wuji had long subsided his reiatsu in order not to get noticed by anyone. Thus, it wouldn't be strange if his opponent or anyone failed to notice or perceive his presence. While under the indigo sky, Wuji eyes met the man that wanted a challenge. Though there were tight-lipped about what type of fighting style the sleeves shinigami uses in battle, Wuji didn't feel particularly ill at ease. In fact he didn't think much of it despite knowing the rank of the adversary his eyes clung onto.

"It seems you're early, I hope you're ready for combat?"

Wuji questioned with a mild tone, eyes unwavering from the vice captain that sat atop a sand pillar. Wuji's utterances were in tandem with a combat action. The junior officer had gripped the lacquered wooden hilt of his zanpakuto as words vacated from his lips. Just in case his opposition attempt to initiate any attack.

The Silence was broken by the unknown man whose voice came from above. The Elvira tilted his royal head moving it in an upward manner in other for him to identify the man that broke the wave of silence. Aoshi squeezed his eye a little to avoid the direct sun ray from causing any damage to both eyes. However, he would look no more for he could tell the reason for the Shinigami being at the desert was for their agreed purpose.

The Elvira would Ignore the man's utterance and would only view it as the very much step of an overgrown arrogance. "children" He thought with a wearily smile.

"You, What's your name?" Aoshi asked. The tall man figured that it would be pretty much easier to know the man who dared to challenge him. Not many could stand to request a spar with Aoshi, but somehow this man did. It was either he was courageous, or utterly stupid. Either way, the end result would not change, and all that the Elvira king could hope for was a good entertainment.

"No, Its only natural I go first. I am Aoshi Eljoran N'a'shezbaernon Elvira" Aoshi said as he walked towards the center of the two Boulders opposite him. "Identify yourself boy"

All words fell on deaf ears as Wuji ignored every question and continued to gaze at the vice captain. Wuji find it rude to speak his own name despite knowing the fact that it's dishonorable for the vice captain to ask his name when he hasn't revealed his at first.

Wuji looked on as the Elvira man walked toward his direction, but the Wudang disciple paced backward with each step the vice captain takes in order to widen the proximity between them. And not to get too close so as to avoid any fast attack that might happen in a short distance. It was not out of fear but sheer caution to avoid any unknown intent from the man opposite him.

"A senior officer huh".

Wuji muttered as he observed the battleground, he noticed that he and the vice captain were partly amidst the sand pillars. And there were many sand pillars to sneak around in order to deploy various tactics. it was a kind of battle one would desire but with that as a fact, the Seventh Division officer made no move and says no words. In truth, he required none at the moment.

"Sword or fist, which one will he use first…?"

The Wudang man was deep in thought as any bystander would have expected the once premier swordsman of Jianghu(martial art world) to initiate an attack. But Wuji knew that making any sort of attack would be futile against the vice captain without knowing the man's weakness or the type of skill the Elvira man lacked in combat.

Aoshi's facial expression changed into a much more annoyed expression. The Elvira tried his best to conceal his resentment towards the man and would however flash a deceptive smile in a bid to cover up his earlier slip up.

He noticed the man take a few steps backwards as the Elvira moved closer to his direction. he commend the man's effort to increase the distance as it was the right call. But however, for a Skilled fighter such as Aoshi, distance mattered not. He expects that I make the first move? Aoshi thought, as he began moving towards the Shinigami in a slow run, moving in a zigzag manner(left to right) to a considerable distance from the Shinigami, Aoshi vanished in Shunpo.

His Shunpo brought him to the left side of the Shinigami. Aoshi utilizing his Shunpo to the fullest amidst the uproar of dust in his landing, He made a gesture to unsheathe his Zanpakutō using his left hand, and simultaneously, yet swiftly pointing his index finger as he made a move to draw out his blade. Aoshi moved to mask his intention in other to draw the Shinigami to think that the Elvira was to draw out his blade. Aoshi hoped that the Shinigami's focus would be on his blade and wouldn't realize that the Elvira attempted to draw out his blade with just 4 fingers should he be fast enough to see the vice captain's movements.

A pale blue electricity roared, breaking free from Aoshi's index finger, shooting at great speed with its target aimed for the Shinigami's lower abdomen. Should it make contact, it would pass clean through the Shinigami, causing a temporary numbness to the affected area. "Byakuri!" Aoshi would finally say.

Wuji narrowed his eyes as the vice captain made a short sharp turns after a slow run. The Wudang man made no move, instead he remained still like an experience predator waiting for a prey to arrive. And in mere seconds the vice captain had vanished into thin air.

But when the vice captain burst into shunpo, Wuji had readied himself to postulate with the shunpo his opposition was sure to apply by uttering a single word "Awake". In truth, following the vice captain's speed with his eyes would unquestionably be a fuss for the Wudang man. With that as a fact, Wuji decided to do complete his words. He muttered..."Shinzenseishin".

As fate would have it the vice captain's attack met the darkness that surrounded Wuji, the man's location became obvious. And the moment the spell made contact, tendrils of darkness behind Wuji extended in attempt to impale the man's stomach and torso. The few that extended their tips to try and impale the vice captain's torso did so without mercy. The stabs
poured out continuously in a swift motion, one wave after another at the same time liberating an energy blast of darkness with each stab that would not only cause minor injuries to the body. But caused an explosion that might caused a blunt trauma to the senior shinigami if it was successful.

Konami, the only thing I find worrying was the term you used to describe the speed of your attack. Now I thought it maybe written as part of your zanpakutō ability that tells that your darkness moves at ultra high speed, but I couldn't find any. and since all prior request for you to edit your post as fallen on deaf ears. I leave you with this.
Aoshi's eyes glared as the pale blue lightning made contact with a shrouded darkness that had began to envelope the Shinigami at his release command. Fate had its way of playing tricks on the minds of the weak, and the Elvira was definitely not the weak one. Aoshi placed the sheath that housed both swords to the ground, using it as a means to propel his body upwards. The zanpakutō pinned and dug deep into the soil, as Aoshi had become inverted, the weight of his body as well as his suspended legs that laid floated in the sky. His both hands pressed down on his hilt of his sword as Aoshi watched the tendrils of the darkness missed its target.

"Shou!" Aoshi said as he pressed down the hilt of his sword before releasing with little force to complete his flip on air. His legs landed on a reishi platform he created while in a floating manner. The force of his Kidō spell was strong enough to push both the Shinigami and his dark tendrils backwards should the Shinigami fail to evade.

"Your Shikai is pitiful. Come on boy, entertain me..... Aoshi said with a disappointed look written on his face.

OOC:
Akugaranwa, you ignored my second attack. it was done the same time the tendrils of darkness were sent towards your character's stomach and torso
.

After the darkness had defended him from the initial attack the vice captain had used on him. Wuji had hoped that his own swift assault should have deal damages to his foe. But his wish and desire to cause harm to the man was short-lived as he partly turned to his left only to see his darkness and dark energy hit the empty air.

While it was not pleasant to see, Wuji's gaze were now directed to the Vice captain that was now aloft like a gymnast, albeit in an inverted position. "Now...what!"Few words crossed through Wuji's mind as the word "Sho" hit the air. As the spell pushed back the few tendrils that were suppose to cause harm to the Second Division Vice captain. Wuji didn't brother to evade as other tendrils of darkness merged together to halt the spell that was intended to force him back.

Despite the struggle of supremacy between Wuji's darkness and the kido spell casted by the Vice captain. It only bought Wuji some time, long enough to glide backward as the kinetic force conjured by the spell overpowered the dark tendrils. Wuji ignored the man's remark and let out a terse breathe. And wondered why his opponent is yet to apply zanjutsu or any barehanded skills in combat. Even for those who have bath in the ocean of battle, the first option that would flash through their mind would be to utilize the basic skills in battle by drawing out their sword or let their opponents noticed their barehanded skills.

However, the Vice captain was entirely different, it was as if sword and fist holds no meaning to him. In spite of what he has observed, Wuji crouched a bit as the darkness that circled around him waver with hissing sound. Waiting like harmed henchmen to obey the will of their master. Regardless, Wuji's next action would be to find out the true skills his opponent preferred to use in combat.

"It seems you wouldn't be able to give me the entertainment I so desperately need." The tall man said as he glided the reishi to place him back on the ground. As he did so, his body began to glow red and with the other Shinigami at his line of site, it would only help for his spell to take effect. Geki

The Elvira's aim was to restrict the movements of the Shinigami to a zero momentum and velocity. Aoshi Eljoran N'a'shezbaernon Elvira's Shunpo brought him behind two Blouders that were adjacent to the Shinigami, and with great strength, and fists folded, Aoshi punched both fist into the two blunders he was now behind off breaking it in half from the impact velocity from his fist and as such it would send both Boulders towards the Shinigami.

Should his Kidō spell take effect on the Shinigami, the little man would become completely paralysed and unable to make any move as two big rocks would be sent lunching at the Shinigami with full force. And should it make contact, bones would be broken, and it would be the end of the one sided battle.

@Akugaranwa, binding spell like the one you used can't have effect on darkness/shadows. It makes no sense for the spell to restrict the tentacles of darkness. Therefore, I'll reply your post to the best of my knowledge.
Wuji's eyes blinked for a moment as he watched the vice captain closely. Despite the man's long statement Wuji stood in his own position, motionless and completely prepared to whatever action his opposition decide to take.

The precise moment the Vice captain's body shined intensely in red. Wuji raised an eyebrow in recognition of the spell that was about to be let loose. And having witnessed the spell casted many times in the past by the Shino Academy instructors. The Wudang disciple knew what he had to do to avoid the spell. The darkness surrounding him took the form of a large rectangular wall, shielding him from the view of the binding spell. In this way the spell would lose effect and unable to find him.

While Wuji prepared himself for his own attack, two boulders were sent flying towards his direction as his eyes shifted in some degree to photographed their initial position from where they were sent. A thud sound could be heard as the boulders collided with the nearest sand pillar along their track. In truth, Wuji had disappeared from view before the boulders tried to make contact with him. It was as if his reiatsu had been erased completely from the world, like he was never there.

Moments later, Wuji materialized from the shadow of his opponent with only his upper body(i.e from his chest to his head) and right arm in view. Since the man's image blocked the sun from his left it was normal that a shadow would be formed to the right, but in some degree behind the man just like the shadows of boulders in the environment took form. Upon materializing from the Vice captain's shadow, Wuji's long sword was swiftly aimed at the man's tendons located on the back (posterior) portion of the left foot just above the heel. It is the site of attachment of the calf muscle to the heel of the foot. if the sword slash arrived at the intended location, it would severely disturbed the mobility of the Vice captain and caused him to depend on one foot only.
