The Pit of Beasts:
Image
Hidden among the outskirts of the Seireitei, beneath the ground in a cave carved by a combination of hands, Kidou, and the blood of a staunch being lies the Seventh Division's Headquarters— The Pit of Beasts. The pit is a formerly  top-secret training ground for the Seventh's Elite and the few others assigned to training at the black site. As spearheaded by the harshest and most brutal leaders the Seireitei has known, its walls are stained with as much a hardened history as it stained with the uncleaned blood of countless fallen.

Despite its dark past, and cruel oversight by Soul Society's resident Warlord— Solus, it is all that remains of the Seventh outside of the currently sealed ruins. Following the downfall of Gotei and the birth of the new era, The Pit has been opened to the new breed of Seventh Division Warriors, and those who have proven themselves both worthy and strong enough to thrive the harsh environment. While within, niceties and comfort are forsaken within. A harsh past is not easily forgotten, and reputations will be upheld for as long as Solus lives. The Pit was a breeding ground for the best of Gotei, true beasts disguised at Shinigami, and it would remain that way.

The Tyrant's Breech:
Nothing fancy, a simple entrance into the area. It is the one and only point is access into the domain, making the location highly defensible against intrusion.
Image
The Den of Demons: Despite it's soft appearance, the Den of Demons once served as the death bed to many Shinigami of the old Era. Now, The Den serves as a main hall for all general activities. Having previously existed as a battleground, it is still stained with blood, and the remnants of the spiritual energy that spilled over these grounds still stings the skin as much as the stench of death still stings the nose.
Image
The Proving Flame: At the heart of The Pit lies The Proving Flame. A small fire pit serving as the home to a single sword, and a small flame. This flame is bound by a powerful magic, that judges the worthiness and strength of all those that enter this domain and call themselves agents of the Seventh. Those deemed unworthy will be burned and branded weak by its flame, purged from the location, and then denied passage into The Pit until they have been redeemed and once again proven themselves worthy. Those who have stood before the Fire's judgment have guessed that the sword belongs to the founder of the Seventh, but the truth of its origins remains both unconfirmed and unknown.
Image
The Warlord's Respite: A personal shrine carved out by hand. It is the private domain of Solus Solaris. It is their place of rest, meditation, and private training ground. Entry into this area is strictly forbidden without the Captain's consent— though the entrance is sealed by powerful Kidou. Disturbing the seal of entering the room without first being granted access will face the Captain's unrestrained fury.

    • Consequences for these actions will result in banishment.
  • Non-Seventh members banned by the flame may gain re-entry via trial by combat.
    • Victory is not necessary, however a certain level of quality and skill must be exhibited in order to gain reentry in to the Pit outside of events. These fights will be judged.
  • Members wishing to challenge each other in this thread, must each declare their willingness to battle to The Proving Flame or the Captain if present.
    • The Flame will mark consenting combatants with the symbol of The Sun, granting them permission to fight.
    • The power of the flames will protect all non-combatants from any collateral damage should any fights occur.
  • Use of Zanpakutou, weapons, or any other releases outside of conflict resolution, approved battles, or solitary training is forbidden.
  • Members of the Seventh and outsiders may freely attempt to attack the Captain in order to test their strength, regardless of the first rule and the need for declaration.
    • However defeat by the Captain in combat will result in banishment by The Proving Flame.
    • An acceptable standard of RP and Quality will be both expected and required.
      • Failure to meet this standard will result in the immediate banishment by The Proving Flame (in other words, no GM'ing or Poor RP).
    • The Captain may choose to waive some but not all rules. Rules such as the ones that can result in the Banishment of the Captain if violated cannot be waived.
The Redemption Ritual:
  • The Redemption Ritual is a special event only available to those banished by The Proving Flame.
  • This Ritual is meant for banished members to redeem themselves and gain re-entry into The Pit.
  • The Redemption Ritual will only take place twice a month.
    • The first Ritual session will be held at the end of the first week of the moth (starting Friday).
    • The second Ritual session will be held at the end of the third week of the month (starting Friday).
  • Banished members must choose the date of their Ritual prior to partaking in it.
  • Members banished by the Flame will be entitled to undertake one of two trials.
    • The First Trial is a duel against the Captain or any other approved Trial Master.
    • The Second is a solo oriented trial against an entity of the Trial Master's choosing.
In either Trial, success is only dependent on the skills shown during the trials.
  • Each trial will be graded on an S-F scale, with S being the highest.
    • Initially, an A-grade representing a well above average RP ability is required pass the trial.
    • Lenience in the trials may be granted if other non-banished members vouch for the banished member's ability.
      • Vouching for a member will reduce the grade necessary for passing the trial by 1 for each person speaking for the banished's abilities.
        • For example, 3 members vouching for the banished can reduce the required passing grade to a C.
      • The lowest grade possible is C, requiring 3 people to vouch for the Banished.
      • If the banished fails to pass the trail after having been vouched for, the members speaking for the banished will also face banishment by The Proving Flame.
      • However their requirement for redemption will be lowered to a C-grade by default.
Vouching members must declare their support of the banished to The Proving Flame at least 3 days prior to the date of the Redemption Ritual.
      • Members earning an S-grade in their trial will be granted a boon and thus rendered exempt from banishment by the Flame for one time only should they commit an act that warrants banning, or fail to follow the rules in the future.
    The Proving Ritual:
    • The Proving Ritual is a special event only available to those who feel they have earned the right to prove themselves capable of wielding a higher authority.
    • Members partaking in this trial will be designated as Unproven until either the trial is complete, or the trial is abandoned.
    • The Proving ritual is designed as a rite of passage and mark of proof of one's worthiness to accept either the position of Vice-Captain, or 3rd Seat in the event that you were not personally chosen during rankings or simply feel up to the task.
    • The Proving ritual can be undertaken by any member of the Seventh Division, at any time, however the support of at least 2 other members of the Seventh is required
      • Members in support of the Unproven will be called The Spoken.
For the Unproven, there is no consequence for failing the Proving Ritual's Trials.
      • However, The Spoken will be banished in the event that the Unproven fails.
      • There will be no leniency given to those banished under these circumstances.
        • Thus support of the Unproven must be considered with the utmost care.
    • The Ritual will consist of two trials.
      • The First is a Duel against the Captain, or a designated Trial Master.
      • The Second is a solo oriented fight against an entity of the Trial Master's choosing.
        • An S-grade is required to pass both trials.

Reason: updated the language on the rules and the rule period

It would come in a blur, and seek to lay waste to them all.
In a flash, the beast sought to let loose a calamity crafted by its own hands.
Its sole purpose to leave nothing but charred remains and ash...

Not long after leaving the main operations center, Solus arrived on site at a previously well-hidden section of the Seireitei. After scouting out a few trees, the Captain either the base of one unremarkable tree in particular. They approached it cautiously, and knelt down the the base. Slowly, Solus reached out and touched what appeared to be an ordniay black stone.

On contact, the stone awakened and loosed a brilliant light. The light soon faded and the roots of the tree began twisting and shuffling about before a large hole at the base revealed itself. Standing between the outside world and entry was a rather complex net of inter-woven spiritual energy, but soon it too faded. The Captain enetered within and traversed beyond the Tyrant's Breach.

Once Solus had broken into the cave proper, they proceeded further into heart of the cave. Their their found a small ash pile. Once their Solus brought the stone to their lips and whispered something to it. In response the stone transformed in to an old, broken looking sword with a helix-shaped blade. From there, the Captain thrusted the sword into the ground at the center of the ash pile. In an instant, a torrent of flames was unleashed into the room, covering all in its fierce radiance. It was if the Flame lived and sought to purge all within its reach. Solus was unaffected, though the display was nothing more than just a display.

After settling down, the flames receded, but not after passing judgment on the Captain. Of course, Solus was deemed worthy of entry. To mark the permissions granted to them by the newly kindled Flame, Solus was hovered from head to toe in faintly flickering embers. In recognition of their acceptance, Solus knelt down and spoke to the flame, and in doing so declared the names of all current members of the Seventh in order to permit them passage as well, so long as they respected the Flame and its home.

Solus failed to dwell near the freshly kindly Proving Flame for too long. Instead they rose and made way towards the Warlord's Respite. There, they undid the seal that barred entry into to furthest reach of the Pit and made their way in. Once inside the seal was reconstructed and Solus quickly searched for a place to rest until others decided to arrive.

It would come in a blur, and seek to lay waste to them all.
In a flash, the beast sought to let loose a calamity crafted by its own hands.
Its sole purpose to leave nothing but charred remains and ash...

A few minutes elapsed and seraph becomes visible a few metres to the entrance of the 7th division's barracks.

His pupils dilated,as he gulped and forged onwards.
Apparently, the entrance hadn't been clogged by numerous vines and other plant like materials like before, meaning an intrusion must've occurred at some point pre his appearance.

Regardless of this, seraph ventured into the pit of beasts with a stern expression, seemingly he had an idea of whom it was that got there before he did(the person in question had something to do with the nature of the message the black-winged butterflies had procured for him earlier-during his stay in karakura)

The moment passes and he is noticed to have traversed into the main hall of the pit of beasts.

With the stench of blood lingering around and substantial amount of residual spiritual energy that saturated the place,he should've become edgy and expressed a certain degree of concern facially, but seraph's look of indifference remained intact.

He was cautious(very)but not afraid.

Afterwards,he would've succeeded in reaching the epicenter(heart)of the cave.
Therein lied an ash pile and a katana thrusted firmly into the ground,a bit too eerie for seraph's taste.

Abruptly, the entire place was set ablaze by a violent discharge of flames that had been generated by the katana itself.
The flames seemed sentient,in more ways than one,it appeared to converse with seraph, just before diminishing until it receded completely into its source having found him not wanting of a certain quality that determined the length of his stay in the pit of beasts,so,seraph exhaled out of relief, later assuming a meditative stance(he sat crosslegged on the floor, his katana placed horizontally on his laps, his hands gestured accordingly) awaiting the one who was within the main inner sanctum of the pit(the warlord's respite) with the intention of greeting him.

The shaft cones of moonlight had darkened due to the numerous shadows of the humongous trees that flanked the cave known as the Pit of Beast, but as time approaches, solitude lies around it as if it was a territory to be possessed by any means necessary. Meanwhile, a mysterious song is heard from afar, seemingly from behind one of the large trees. A soft and graceful tune was played which carried across the thick canopy of leaves, under the cover of the night sky. Once the song had finished, an individual sporting on a blue kosode with a long white haori over the top and dark blue hakama, tucked into
simple black socks appeared. The individual was no doubt, the present 5th seat of the Seventh Division Yuan Wuji.

The Wudang disciple could be seen with an harp held between his muscular arms, as he approached the entrance of the cave. Though the lyrics of the song played by Wuji was from the infamous poem "Might favours the strong". Written by the Ming dynasty scholar and poet, Hua Jing, the words sung matched what Wuji was feeling inside his big heart; though only forty words were sung. Which describe, Wuji's choice of sword, martial art philosophy, scenery and perception. The Second part of the poem was as if he was narrating his lonely life as the premier sword man of Wulin(martial art community). As a matter of fact, Wuji had never met the poet Hua Jing before but the poet was a man known in Heijan(one of the northern province in China), as a court official where he lived a leisure lifestyle. Doing as he please, absorbed in what he was doing regardless of the struggle of power between court officials at that time.

Wuji paused for a moment as he perceived different types of reiatsu from a distance; average, high, great and immense level of reiatsu, all emanating from the main hall. The 5th seat sighed and despite the ominous settings, Wuji didn't feel particularly apprehensive at all. He dropped his harp at the foot of the cave and walked quietly into the cave known to be the Headquarter of the Seventh Division. Wuji went passed the tyrant's breech and Dens of demons which made him felt uncomfortable. Due to the numerous levels of reiatsu that caused him continuous pain in most parts of his flesh. No matter how hard he tries to fight back with his own great reiatsu, the cramps never stopped until he departed from the main hall. While Wuji hastened his pace to avoid the blood that lies with most part of the vicinity, he briefly Scanned the entire building with deep admirations for the place and for the Captain that built it. Wuji couldn't help but chortled inwardly to behold such work of art by Solus, as he arrived at the sacred ground of the proving flame.

"So there it is!!".

Wuji exclaimed to himself, eyes unwavering from the flaming sword that was mounted into the ground. He paid no attention to the junior seated officer or greet the captain that was relaxing quietly. Fearless as he appeared to be, Wuji walked closer to the flaming sword and grasp it with his right arm to gaze at it correctly. Suddenly, his entire body was engulfed with thick, bright flame that ascended with ferocious noise all across the spacious environment and as fate may have it, Wuji was not burned or affected by the flame in anyway. It was as if his body never made contact with it at all. Though Wuji could still feel the warm energy that emanated from the flame itself, it was a feeling of purity, a feeling of recognition. Wuji let out a smile as the bright flame began to subside in a slow motion while Wuji took three steps back and shifted his gaze to Solus after the flame dissipated on its own.

"Hello Captain Solus, it's been a while. I trust you're well?"

Wuji intoned quietly, while patiently waiting for a reply from the high tier Captain.

OOC: Konami, Solus was in his personal room and would have no way of hearing what was said to him. So, that'll be ignored in this post.
Sensing the new energies arriving on scene, Solus roused themselves from their moment's rest and made way for the Den of Demons. Before long, the seal was undone and reestablished just moments before the Captain joined the others. With a quick glance they assessed the group and inhaled deeply. With the exhale, came their booming voice, sharp enough to carve a new section of the cave all on its own.

"Seeing as you've all not been expelled by The Proving Flame, you've all passed the first test and the first part of your new training regimen. With that you must understand two things, the reason why you will be required to touch the flame each time you visit here is a simple issue... a lesson in discipline— the mark of a true warrior.

Beyond that, it is representative of the nature of your membership in this division. As embracing the flame will be constant, so too shall your training be constant. Rest will be light, but the burden of your training will not. You have but two choices..."

Solus paused for a good while. It was an opportunity to consider what had already been said, and what was to come next. The gravity of the words to follow were something the Captain wanted to be felt and understood in their entirety.

"Your first option is to resign. Right here and now, abandon this Division and seek comfort in the Second. It is only there that you will find peace. The lengths at which we will go to ensure that you grow beyond all current notions of possibility, will either kill you, or force you to evolve.

Thus your second option... Suffer, suffer what will seem like an eternity of pain. Be broken by your inadequacies time, and time again, only to lick your wounds and heal just enough to stand and be broken again. What awaits you is the most brutal, and callous treatment you will ever know. A harshness that would make even the most blood thirsty of hollow seem like mere infants.

Another pause, this time it was much shorter. Solus didn't want to leave room anyone to ponder too deeply on what was being said. Rather the Captain powered straight into the next part of their speech in attempts to leave everyone that heard it on edge with mere words alone.

"We will be as strict as we will be harsh. You will be left no room for shortcomings or missteps. Every bit of you will be challenged beyond anything you have ever faced before, and we will lot relent. This place favors and accepts only the strongest, the smartest, the most capable of fighters. If that is not you, if you cannot become that, you have no place here.

What Gotei needs now are people willing to push beyond their limits and obtain the level of competence that will not only prevent, but ensure the same calamity that left our organization in this sorry state will never again occur. This is but your one and only easy way out from the hell that awaits you should you stay.

Understand now, before we proceed, the ranks that you hold now are meaningless. Mere placeholders that are reflective of the chaos that surrounds us now. You will be tested, your skills will assessed, and you will find new ranks more in line with your abilities. Our judgment will not be soft, neither now nor in the future."

One third and final pause. However, before doing so, Solus drew out their last sentence making it last long enough to hang on the wind and on the souls unfortunate enough to hear it. The Captain was serious from head to toe, body and soul, and soon they would know it. After a moment, Solus spoke once more to conclude.

"If you are willing to proceed, knowing full well, or perhaps not at all how difficult the future here will be, step forward and declare it so. Make it loudly known to both The Proving Flame, and to us that you are willing to forsake what humanity you have now in order to transcend beyond the shackles that bind you now. Make it known, that no suffering, no hardship, lack of rank, or fear of banishment or death will deter you from pressing forward and becoming more than just a capable Shinigami, but the staunch defender that Gotei has severely lacked for all too long. Make your decree, and be bound by the might of The Flame. Training will begin immediately after."
Just a few OOC this to say for all of the 7th so far. Just a few things to know about me and how things are going to be here with me as the Captain of this ship if you're unfamiliar with how I do things. Please take a moment to read up on that. If you have any questions about it, feel free to PM me. I'll try to send responses quickly.
As serious as Solus is, so too am I. Though being here won't be the hardest thing in the world, finding a good rank will likely be. As it has been for a very long time, the top 7 seats in the 7th are essentially sacred, and earning them will not come easy. If you're in one of those seats now it may not be this way after the new rankings. As it has been my style for many years, I will expect and require a genuine effort from anyone and everyone wishing to hold a high position in my division. This means not only becoming a strong RP'er, but also an upstanding member of the RP and the forum itself.

This can be easy, or difficult depending on your attitude towards my methods, your willingness to always strive to be better and a good member, and how hard you're willing to work at it and learn. I'm not going to be mean or harsh for the sake of doing it. Well, I won't be mean period, but I will challenge you and you may not like trying to aim for the standards I set. The good news is that you really don't have to try to meet them, ever. You're free to do as you please for the most part. You just won't get as far as you might want to be if you don't.

Now I don't do this because I'm a hardass, or because I'm some sort of elitist that only wants the best RP'ers around. I'm also not doing it to kill the fun. No, that's not the case. Protip: you can work hard and have fun too. Rather, as a leader I've always been one to recognize and reward hard work. But beyond that, pushing you in the way that I have in the past and very much intend to do heading forward is for several reasons. The main thing is that you are more likely to become a valuable help to the RP and the forum this way, and that's always been my aim as a leader.

The more people that know what they're doing, and are carrying around in an exemplary manner will be a great asset to the RP and even the forum as a whole. It's not about being great just because you can, or should, it's about being great because it benefits all of us in someway. Had more people aimed to do a lot better than what they did before BAM fell off, just worked a bit harder, things could have been a lot different than what they are now.

Hate to break it to you, but success requires effort, and effort is what I'm going to be looking for in the very least. If you're not cool with that, I'm not asking you to stay and put up with it. From this point on, I'll be doing my part not just as a Captain here, but as one of the lovely folks trying to make this place (the whole site, not just the forum) something great. I am asking and encouraging you all to work hard alongside me here and do your parts as well. It won't be easy, but if you really care and try hard enough you'll go far not just in the division but everywhere else too.

It would come in a blur, and seek to lay waste to them all.
In a flash, the beast sought to let loose a calamity crafted by its own hands.
Its sole purpose to leave nothing but charred remains and ash...

Every words, every utternces uttered by the Captain sank into the eardrum of Yuan Wuji. The 5th seat folded his muscular arms, devoid of any anxiety. The weight of Solus's words seemed to have a positive influence upon him, a weird feeling about accepting the Captain's ideas and reasoning. A long, long time ago Wuji was once revered as the reclusive swordman that seek defeat throughout the Jianghu ( martial art world), a warrior whose veins are filled with insatiable lust for battle. And now Solus has made  everything clear, soon the 5th seat and the other warriors of the Seventh Division would be tested and trialed in the art of combat to see if they're worthy enough to walk among legends that had once made the Seventh Division famous.

The moment Souls concluded his awesome speech, Wuji paused for some seconds and pondered about his decisions and choice to make in the matter. However, he couldn't help but recall a few statements made by Solus himself. Wuji cracked a smile and nodded his head, with his action exposed he stepped forward albeit with three steps.

"I Yuan Wuji solemnly agree to forsake what humanity i have now in order to transcend above the shackles that bind me this moment. And no hardship, punishment, suffering, death or fear of banishment will prevent me from jolting forward to become more than just a capable shinigami".

Wuji's voice arose to the roof and with his words exposed in the open, an eerie sense of power accompanied every word and every breath made by the 5th seat officer. Even the proving flame ascended happily as if to say 'you're good to go', it was a sure sign that every words uttered by the sword saint was true and pure. Despite the situation, the wind managed to brush a piece of dirt on Wuji's haori. The Wudang disciple tried to hid his feelings, as a lonely heart like a string struggling to be untangled. But in the eyes of intelligent minds, such emotions cannot be well hidden.

I'm sorry for editing these post 5 times, my mobile phone had some issues that needs to be solved. Thanks for your understanding!

Seraph's body began to throbb,he trembled, but unlike the impression that would've been incorrectly passed, the reason for his trembling was positive fear mixed with excitement.

With open arms an opportunity had presented itself willingly in front of him, his decision here and now meant the difference between accomplishing his goals and failing, not just himself, but his clan as well.

The image of his mother flashed past his mind for a split second, with a blinding darkness blanketing his mind-scape(his subconscious)

Once again, the image flashes, although more vividly than before,as this time a younger version of himself is seen reaching out to grasp his mother who stood motionless,
a shade of black obscuring the upper half of her face,at some point she smiled, appearing to say something -seeing as her lips moved, despite her words being muffled(sound is dampened).

Little by Little, her voice loudens, enabling the child version of seraph make out the words "strive,strive....Strive"

The further he stretched his hand,the farther she appeared to be from him..
The scene darkens for the final time, meanwhile,in reality seraph was lost in thought, completely silent, his head bent down, and a reddish miasma emanating from his body, the energy within leaked out so fiercely that had the people abreast him not been far stronger than he was, they would've fallen prey to the pressure exerted by it.
The vision kicks in-in an instant and surprisingly,by lunging forward he manages in embracing his mother, exclaiming that "she is the one thing he would never let go of,and that he just couldn't do that,no matter the anguish doing so might've caused him."

Current time;
His previously shut eyelids sway upwards to expose his crimson pupils which shone more fiercely than ever.
afterwards,he kneels partially, his right arm leaned on the knee of his right leg, the other hand clenched  firmly and placed against the ground.

Seraph glances directly into the eyes of his captain and shouts, relaying his resolve to go through whatever the captain had in store for him

"Rigorous or not,whether it might even kill me is not my concern. As long as standing behind you will help my Fragile self transcend into something.. Someone more useful to the cause of the Gotei,I,Seraph of the Kirara am willing to forego everything to see my stay in this division to the end, until death so us part" he declared strongly, prompting the proving flame to flare up in agreement and acceptance.
Indeed,he meant every bit of what he said.

Solus at first nodded in response to their decree, and so their words became their bond. As it would seem, nothing would deter them from striving to all new heights, even despite the difficulties that lie ahead.

"And so it is... the second phase of your training will begin now. You goal is simple, you do not have to defeat us, howwer you must prove your might in battle against us. Not only must you do so individually, but as a team.

As Solus finished, The Proving Flame erupted into a glorious blaze. It accepted their words and their oath to serve. While the extent of their abilities were currently unknown, the strength of their will at this very moment was quite clear to both Solus and the Flame.

"From this point forward you no longer have names. You will have to earn your names back. Names are a sign of recognition, and a tether to humanity...you are yet to be recognized and your humanity has been forsaken. Your are beast first, and until the day day comes that you are recognized, you will be referred by code name. To you..."

Solus first pointed to Wuji.

"You will be referred to as Grizzly. And then you..."

Solus then pointed to Seraph.

"You will be designated Hyena... We are Solus— Lion. You may not speak our name nor refer to us as Captain. From now until you are recognized we are Lion.

Now then we will begin the training..."

With that Solus took their stance. Like the beast they were, Solus bent down to all fours as their reiatsu began bubbling out to the surface. Like a fury unto its own the wild energy spiraled around them like flame, enveloping Solus in untamed light.

"...before we begin, you must understand that the use of Shikai is strictly forbidden. You may attack by whatever other means necessary, and you are permitted to attack whenever you are ready... to tell you one thing— though how much of a difference it'll make is dependably on you— do not initiate battle until you are fully prepared. This is not a race, so do not rush in foolishly if you are not quick to think. Make of that what you will, it is the only mercy you will be shown."
As a bit of motivation to try you absolute hardest here, I'll give you a somewhat easy path to as high as fourth seat. If you can impress me in 4 posts you will be given 4th seat. If you can do it in 5, 5th. 6th for 6 and 7 for 7th. Anything after that will be up to fate. Good luck.

Yuan Wuji barely reacted at first while listening to Solus's words. In truth, he was trying to remember all Nine stances of Wudang. It had been a very long time since he had used it in combat, and now that fate has presented the opportunity for him to use the Nine sword of Wudang in battle. The Sword saint didn't feel ill at ease, instead he felt amazed by the present situation. Going all out in combat was something he has sort throughout his martial art life and the only thing that matters to him.

However, Wuji accepted all Solus's words wholeheartedly, he inclined his head in response even though he found his codename funny and a bit weird at the same time. But that didn't stop him from mounting his gaze upon Solus, the high tier captain seemed to have crouch down in a tactical position like a predator observing his prey. And without warning, the reiatsu of the Seventh's Division Captain began coiling around the Captain himself, illuminating with with a bright flame that seemed to have engulfed his person.

Wuji cracked a smile, as he observed the situation himself, he didn't need a seer to whisper to him that it was time for battle. And with a small adjustment of the sword strapped to the left side of his waist. The Wudang disciple formed an undefined stance; the general index stance of the Nine sword of Wudang. Without wasting much time, Wuji unsheathed his blade from the scabbard while a powerful pulse of reiatsu spreads around from his body in all directions, his body was now giving off a blue energy. Within a few seconds some of the reiatsu wrapped around his entire body and coated him, causing a visible change as his eyes turned dark blue instead of his normal sky blue eyes. As the reiatsu subsides, words finally broke out from his thin lips as he pointed his left hand to the junior officer.

"Hey kiddo! Back me up when the opportunity arises!".

Even before he finished his statement, Wuji sprinted forward unhindered by anything in the environment and upon getting 25m close to Solus. The 5th seat vanished with shunpo, it was so fast that an after-image was born though a blurry one at first. The phantasm figure that was left behind, jerked a bit and came into view. Hustling to reveal a lucid form for the world to see. Within a few seconds an exact replica of Wuji was formed. The precise moment it took for the after-image to form, Wuji appeared behind Solus. A few seconds later, the clone materialized beside Solus; albeit the left side of the Captain.

Both Wuji and the clone had moved at the same time. Utilizing their amazing speed in hope of surprising the Captain. The first and second Wuji didn't bother to step forward with any of their foot; their premier sword arts would never require it at all. Their feet had already stamped the hard ground. And in one moment, reflections from their sword glimmered across the spacious room, and because of their great speed, all of their diagonal sword moves became indistinct. Their diagonal attacks poured out continuously with ultra high speed, one wave after another. All in hope to damage the left hand side and back side of Solus's body.

Seraph could feel the gravity of his captain's words and tensed up,although briefly.

If the captain intended to scrutinize his capabilities as a shingami,he would do well to offer no resistance in giving an impressive performance.

His countenance is noticed to have become more fixated and stern(this wasn't a time for cold feet)
After all, hadn't he just proclaimed his willingness to sway in accordance with his captain's commands?
Of course he wasn't planning on showing even the slightest bit of anxiety, nor fear!

Reflected on his pupils momentarily is solus and their animalistic stance, they retained a crouching position that gave seraph the impression that they were no different from an agitated tiger, awaiting the perfect instance to pounce on its prey.

His gaze drifted in Wuji's direction, as was to be expected from him,Wuji expressed his readines to began their duel both in the unleashing of the energy within and in speech.

After, seraph would nod his head in response to Wuji's request for an assist.
fortunately,he realised he'd be in over his head were he to act carelessly and rush into the fray, for he himself knew his place as far as Solus and Wuji were concerned, thereby, owing to this assessment he opted to prioritize supporting Wuji over anything else.

His pupils dilated in awe, capturing wuji's enticing fluid movements which proved sufficient to cast a speed clone behind him, then later beside Solus and at that very moment he proceeded to gesture with his hands, carving an ominous symbol into the air, after which he uttered the words

"Disintegrate, you black dog of rondaniini!!!
look upon yourself with horror and then claw out your own throat.
Bakudo#6 Geki"

Simultaneously,a red energy radiated from him strongly, later shrouding solus' inn close quarters, all in hopes of enacting a complete paralysis that if not deterred would greatly increase the possibility of Wuji's swung Katana impacting with the captain's(solus')left hand side/back.

Note that the bakudo spell preceded wuji's attempt at slicing solus'

Understanding far too well that completely immobilizing solus wasn't so plausible, the motive behind     seraph still going ahead to use a binding spell was to get solus to provide his partner with the slightest delay, even by a second or half.

-The overzealous shall be punished. Solus, you are free to act without restraint! -

Zestriel called out to Lion in response to both Grizzly, and Hyena's actions. They moved without thought, without consideration. Easily those were the two weakest traits to any warrior, to rush in blindly especially against a being of vastly superior skill. They should have taken their time to plan their initial strike. Solus had clearly given them time to assess and coordinate a much more competent assault, but the squandered blessing would soon turn in to a curse.
~In time, we will, but...~
First Grizzly came, his body split in two and the separate beings he had become attempted to strike Lion from two sides. It was a pathetic attempt at best— to strike from the left flank and behind was a miserable miscalculation.  Grizzly left Solus far too many options to both counter and evade, one of which was to simply charge forward long before he'd be able to attack. Even with the assist from Hyena the rather unthoughtful and hasty assault on Solus should have costed them their lives right then and there, but the Captain fought the urge to end them in the hopes that from this point forward they would do much better.

In order to make it clear to them exactly what they were up against Solus first sought to exhibit their speed. As soon as the words bakudo hit the air, the Lion pounced forward. The subtle display of their ability to react and move in a mere instants would be their first clue that Solus was many times faster than they were. First slowing the Lion down should have been their first move. Perhaps they would realize the error and seek to correct it, but now that the Captain was fully engaged in combat, they would be left little opportunity to accomplish such a feat.

As they moved, Solus made use of the increadible strength in both their arms and legs, and thus the speed at which Lion was able to move foward was nothing short of impressive, even for Captain class fighters. By the time Hyena would finish his spell the Lion would already have traveled more than halfway on their flight path before the effects of the binding took hold. In a single leap, Solus' power and speed would become clear.

Just before reaching  their target, Solus body began to siezs up. They could feel themselves becoming heavier, harder to move as the power of Hyena's Kidou swept over them, by then it hardly mattered. The sheer momentum was beyond enough to carry them forward towards their target without signs of slowing down. Yet despite that, the spell could have been easily overpowered for several reasons Solus would leave to two to discover on their own if they could...

Before the 8th seat would even have the chance to dream of a response, the Lion would be upon him. Yet, rather than make a proper attack, Lion would instead use the entirety of their body like a cannon ball to strike Hyena. The sheer speed and strength behind the movements, combined with the dead weight Solus had become due to the effects of the spell would make the impact devastating if successful.

However things were be far more severe than what becoming a human cannonball initially implied. Despite just hitting the target being a major threat by itself, the fact that the momentum would allow Solus to continue to push forward even after impact and potentially crush the Hyena up against one of the cave walls.
I am only going to say this once, guys: Take. Your. Time. More than anything, time is your greatest assets as an RP'er. Use that time to really consider each and every one of your actions (like throwing a weak spell at a Captain, even after recognizing its ultimate futility). You simply do not have the luxury to just throw yourselves and your energy at Solus as carelessly as you're already doing. While for the moment I am taking it very easy on you, you just can't rush in safely. Solus outclasses you in every way possible, and I outclass you in experience alone. You need to be more clever and considerate. Aim to leave me with as few options and possible, and seek to use your numbers as an advantage against me.

While I have ways of dealing with more than one person at a time, it can be immensely difficult to accomplish even for someone like me if you're smart enough about it. It would be very easy to bait attacks, set up traps, etc., but you need to take your time to not just plan for things, but also to assess your options and my options and diced your moves from there.

Other than that I will give advice, but will only do so in vague terms. I will not solve situations for you, and I won't tell you how to attack. You need to be able to think and develop ideas on your own. That said, I will aim to point you in the right direction. As such the first bit of me doing that is to, once again, take you time. However in this case I mean take your time in the sense that you should take your time to read my post, and your partner's post very carefully.

You need to read my post carefully as a means to find openings first and foremost. There are some...right now, but there are likely to be fewer and fewer as time goes on and I aim to challenge you even more than what I am right now. Secondly I'm leaving hints and critiques about what you guys do in my posts. I'm not always going to leave spoiler messages for you.  Thirdly, you need to see what your partner is doing and aim to complement their actions. As a team your highest priority is to fill in the holes your partner leaves. For example: If your partner leaves his back open to attack, try to cover it. It's things like that you need to consider most in a team situation. If you don't protect each other, I, or anyone else will simply dismantle your team one by one and there will be little trouble accomplishing as much.

However at the same time, you need to be careful in your approach to doing that. If you're too obvious, that will be exploited and you'll suffer dearly for it against those who know what they're doing. You need to aim to stay at least one step ahead of your opponent, which leads me back to the main point of my message here: Take your time. If you do that, you'll be better able to figure out what your opponent might be planning and make attempts to plan against that.

When you take the time to consider what can happen, and what your opponent can/can't do, you'll be able to make safer posts since your responses will likely contain measures against what your opponents can do. Understand that your primary objective in any spar isn't to be a cool guy or a bad ass. If you want to, then by all means go ahead, but you're probably going to run the risk of not being all that effective as a fighter—which is something you'll need to be in this division if you want to go far.

Your primary objective is to be smart. Outplaying your opponent by being smarter, more cleaver and creative than they are is the best way to not only have a better chance at winning but also being recognized as a great RP'er. Strive to be smarter, aim to be creative and take your time if you can. First develop the ability to make smart plays before you try to speed through your responses, that's something you'll have to work up to. Right now neither of you have shown you're capable of quickly drawing up an solid attack plan.

It would come in a blur, and seek to lay waste to them all.
In a flash, the beast sought to let loose a calamity crafted by its own hands.
Its sole purpose to leave nothing but charred remains and ash...

"Incredible!".

Wuji's eyebrow twitched when his completed waves of sword attacks failed to hit their quarry. The Captain's actions proved that Wuji had made a folly move, a move which would never repeat itself again. In mere instant Solus avoided Wuji's assault with incredible speed, the 5th seat eyes got wide for a moment as his partner's body glowed in red. The Wudang man sighed in recognition of the bakudo spell and it's incantations. Indeed it was a close call, if the spell hadn't hit Solus, the 5th seat would have been the victim to suffer the consequences.

Almost immediately after Solus was caught by the spell the second Wuji dissipated. While Wuji perceptive mind kicks in, he acknowledged the fact that the Captain was indeed too fast for him to even land a direct hit. And the Captain cannot be overcome by any normal means and in Wuji's current state, he can never be a match for Solus in terms of sheer speed, power and skill. The only weapon he would rely on from this moment forward is his wits and experience in combat. Even if his sword arts and impressive mobility failed him, he could still rely on his other skills as a shinigami. Moreover, the 8th seat had unknowingly gave Wuji the first clue; which is to employ the use of kido to deal some damages or perhaps to slow down Solus's movements in order for them to have a good chance of dealing severe damages.

Wuji shifted his attention towards the high tier Captain, who for some reasons was able to defy the effects of the binding spell by moving closer to the Junior officer. With the amazing momentum used by Solus, Wuji knew that things would be bad for the 8th seat if he does nothing to aid him. As fate would have it, the 5th seat uttered a single word while facing and pointing his left hand towards the back of Solus.

"Geki!".

it was a risk in the hope of a favorable outcome, base on the idea that with such speed and use of his whole body, Solus option would be to Pummel or pounced on the 8th seat officer. Also, Wuji doubted that his speed would not be a able to keep up since Solus is within melee range to strike the Junior officer. Regardless, while this was a very weak spell to use against someone like Solus. Wuji had no high expectations about it immobilizing the Captain. The spell at the very least would cause Solus's muscles to falter or waver in his movement long enough for Hyena's(Seraph) reactions to meet up and avoid any wicked intent Solus has in store for him.

Still, If the spell was successful Wuji would continue with another low level kido rather than to directly approach Solus.

"Fushibi!"

The word would hit the air immediately after the first spell was initiated. As expected, a large mysterious net would spring into existence, jumping forward behind Solus. It would try to glue itself upon the Captain's body in hope that Hyena(Seraph) would act accordingly and do what's needed to be done. At the very least, the Captain might lose balance if the first spell hit him, long enough for Seraph to use a hado against the incoming kido net to produce an explosion that may very well stun and hurt the Captain.

A chill ran down the full length of his spine on seeing that he'd wrongly gauged solus' speed.

After all, solus had just avoided a direct assault from the 5th seat, and he did it so cleanly that it gave him the impression that wasn't all there was to solus' swiftness.
Solus must've been hiding more of his true capabilities from the duo of lower levelled shinigami.

The situation proved difficult for seraph to wrap his head around, had solus provided him with a bit more room to reason, perhaps the scenario wouldn't have seemed so "hopeless".

Regardless of his binding spell being enacted a moment too late, which was after solus had already outpaced the 5th seat, it didn't help mitigate solus' built up momentum, as the spell could only stiffen a person's muscles, not reduce their sheer kinetic force if already in motion and that was exactly what was going on.

Solus had lunged so powerfully and forcefully that he couldn't come to a dead stop even if he wanted to, so currently, his entire body assumed the outward appearance of a ferocious projectile, one with its course, and trajectory set for one person alone "seraph!!"

"What possibly could he do to escape the incoming solus" this thought and many more dashed across seraph's mind, deeply he pondered as to how to act, but there was little time for rationalizing the current turn out of events.

Fortunately, the 5th seat reinforced the binding spell used earlier by seraph, with a spell of his own, all in a bid to halt solus.
However, all seems futile, as solus eventually continued to head for seraph, not being any more slower than when he began this forward drive.
In the face of despair, a glimmer of hope appears, in the form of a net of energy that should've adhered to solus from behind had it managed to get close to him, is projected by Wuji.

Although, were the casted net been unable to ensnare solus, seraph wouldn't offer any resistance to his fate, thereby, solus would slam head first into him, propelling both himself and seraph in the opposing direction, but the most surprising thing happens, not only did solus' impact diminish, but also, the razor sharp tip of a blade would've shot out from his left shoulder blade area.
Briefly a streak of golden electricity would've flared up from the whole blade, later delving into solus, meanwhile, seraph is flung into the wall of the cave behind him.
(The spell used earlier is tsuzuri raiden)

A replay of the period just before now is shown.
in that replay, seraph is noticed stiffening his muscles and crouching just a bit, bracing himself for impact, while holding out his soul slayer,
all in an attempt to use solus' collision with his body to his advantage.

That being said, if effective, this manoeuvre would've brought about the effects stated above(when solus impacted with seraph before the flashback happened)

Congratulations Kira, you managed to earn yourself a fair amount of points with your last post. On the old site I wasn't cool enough to use gold like I'm about to now, but we still called it gold...anyway I had a way for highlighting really good parts of posts in gold text to show that the person writing it did really well. So things like clever moves, smart observations, good tactics or something really creative got shouted out in hold. A few parts of your happen to fall into goldtext territory. First up, this:
Regardless of his binding spell being enacted a moment too late, which is after solus had already outpaced the 5th seat,it didn't help mitigate solus' built up momentum, as the spell could only stiffen a person's muscles, not reduce their sheer kinetic force,if already in motion and that was exactly what was going on.
In my last post I alluded to why the spell wouldn't work, but in your post you went into the specifics of it. Not only are you thinking exactly about what's happening and why, but you're also understanding exactly how the spells being used work. This is the kind of stuff I'm looking for in this trial, in general, and throughout your time in the 7th. Things like what I highlighted make a good if not great a RP'er. If you continue on with this kind of thinking and posting you will do very well with a little polish.

Now, I'm not finished singing praises in your post here. In fact, I'm only just getting started.

The second goldtext highlight is as follows:
Briefly a streak of golden electricity would've flared up from the whole blade, later delving into solus, meanwhile seraph is flung into the wall of the cave behind him.
(The spell used is tsuzuri raiden)

A replay of the period just before now is shown,in that replay, seraph is noticed stiffening his muscles and crouching just a bit, while holding out his soul slayer, all in an attempt to use solus' collision with his body to his advantage

A thousand times this! This, Kira, is brilliant and it is along the lines of what I might have done in your situation. Yes, you were in a not good position however almost any situation can be turned in your favor if your try hard enough. You proved just that in your post here. Being able to use your opponent's own attacks to your advantage is a valuable skill. While I've made it fairly easy for you to do so, you've taken full advantage of the opportunity given to you.

You should seek to do things like this at all times where possible, and especially when defense is a necessity. Making the opponent work for you, is a great way to approach a situation. In this specific case, Solus basically threw himself in the way of your new attack. Future situations may not have opportunities come up so easily nor will the way to take advantage of the situation be so easily seen, but you're thinking in the right place here.

Now if you remember what I said in my last post (and you should), if you take the time and really pick a part your opponent's post (very few posts are absolutely air tight), you'll find little holes in whatever it is that they're doing to make use of that or something convenient that you make use of pops up. For example, you opponent blasts a hole in the ground, that hole could be used to hide yourself in or perhaps a trap of some sort if you can create one. Of course that's not the best possible option, but these are the kinds of things you should be thinking about. A good way to battle is by attempting to make your opponent regret their every move and second guess their actions. You'll end up controlling the flow of battle and things will tend to happen more on your terms, which is a good thing. Keep up that kind of thinking and approach to your future battles, and many unskilled combatants will struggle to keep up with you., while more skilled ones may have some pause.

That said one major issue I need to point out here. To quote things below:

Although, were the casted net been unable to ensnare solus, seraph wouldn't offer any resistance to his fate, thereby, solus slams head first into him, propelling both himself and seraph in the opposing direction, but the most surprising thing happens, not only did solus' impact diminish, but also the razor sharp tip of a blade would've shot out from his left shoulder blade area
This bit here is essentially spoken in absolute terms, which is something you want to avoid when battling. While the collision aspect of it is fine, you've dictated what happened to Solus which is against the rules here. To give a very basic idea of why this is significant, I actually had a plan to negate your retaliation efforts. Though admittedly the success of such plans was diminished by the next thing I'll be pointing out here, but strive to avoid outright explaining what happens to your opponent-- that's their responsibility. Instead use a passive language and suggest what "should", or "could" happen in a given situation.

And so that leaves me with one last thing to point out before I finish things:
Fortunately, the 5th seat reinforced the binding spell used earlier by seraph ,with a spell of his own,all in a bid to halt solus, however, all seems futile,as solus eventually continued to head for seraph, not being any more slower than when he began this forward drive.

So quoted above is something else I found really special about your post, and it's probably the highlight of it all. It probably wouldn't seem significant to a lot of other folks, but what you've managed to accomplish was something I've yet to see in a team based situation in all my time doing this. That alone is highly impressive. Now, to point out exactly why I found this so great is simple. You looked at what your partner did, alongside what you had done previously and highlighted that in this post. The result was you enhancing your partner's actions. But it doesn't just end there, you even managed to turn something I previously criticized you for (using a low level binding spell against a superior officer), into something I'm now praising you for.

What was bolded was a very interesting detail Konami could have added in himself, but he didn't. Yet you recognized that what he did would have likely increased the effectiveness of that Kidou, you used before and wrote that into your post. Yes, the spell by itself was not that great in post one, but the fact that you enhanced it in post two is an almost masterful way to address that initial complaint. I almost feel stupid for even saying anything earlier, but not quite...

Now, I can't tell if you two coordinated that, and judging by how that detail ended up in your post as opposed or in addition to being in Konami's post, tells me it wasn't. If I'm right, just imagine what could have been if you did coordinate. Your move put me in a much rougher position than what I was expecting, and it could have been dire if you two planned something a bit more elaborate. Let that go to show the importance and power of teamwork, and careful planning.

Anyway, that small detail is above and beyond anything I was expecting and was even asking for. This very simple thing that you did here not only retroactively improved Konami's actions, but also gave a stronger likelihood to your own succeeding. With just those few words you've elevated your post in a way that screams careful consideration of every little detail. That is the absolute foundation of greatness and the turn around you made in a single post is quite marvelous in all honesty.

So to finally to wrap up this bit about your post here, it was excellent work overall. Truly, I admire the work you've done and it should stand an leading example of what excellent RP is. There are a few language issues things that would your post really shine if corrected and I'll help you fix those for the future when this is all over, but I'll say that I'm not taking points off for them. I care about post content above all else, and this second post you've made is certainly not lacking in it. With a few extra details to be the icing on the cake, this post easily could have been up there with some of what the best I've faced have come up with. I'll touch things in exhaustive detail in a more...in-depth review of the events here when we're finished, but the apparent thoughtfulness in it and the way you constructed it is top notch. I certainly applaud you for it.

If you can maintain this level of quality through the rest of this trial, I'll see to it that you're rewarded adequately for your work.

Konami pay attention to what I've highlighted here and aim at least emulate that. You don't have to be a master tactician or strategist, but the simple act of paying attention to the situation and the details making up that situation are key to creating post like what kira made.

The impact with Hyena was all but certain, and Solus would have made their point quite clear. Yet, just before slamming into the officer-in-training, the unexpected happened. As planned to coincide with the instant before impact, Solus very much intended to break free from the rather weak spell; however, their muscles tightened up even further, their body even heavier in response to Grizzly apparently reinforcing the effects of the initial Geki spell.
Though Solus was fast the reinforced spell costed precious fractions of seconds Solus could take advantage of with little issue, thus creating a brief moment of vulnerability.

In any other case Solus would have broken free of the spell, blocked Kira's blade, and then used the shifting momentum of the impact to not only right themselves but also initiate a counter to Grizzly's follow up. However, the extra layer to the spell meant more effort--albeit slightly more-- and more effort meant a slightly longer time to accomplish the desired effect. Effectively the two managed to slow Solus down just long enough do some form of damage. Hyena's blade cut into Solus' right shoulder blade, then delivered a surprising jolt of electricity straight into the near helpless Captain. Unfortunately the blade managed to pierce deeper than it normally would have, had Solus been able to make full use of their muscles and draw out the full extent of their physical strength in order to help deflect the blade. While effects of their reiatsu helped in deflecting the attack and minimizing the damage to some degree, it was far less than what Solus was planning for in the worst case.

In the aftermath of the strike, a peculiar spray of blood and sparks of electricity painted the sky near the point of impact. It was gruesome yet beautiful in a strange way. The colors mixed and blended for form new colors, while the dancing sparks manipulated the shadows and highlights to create all sorts of abstract shapes amidst the grotesque nature of it all. It was as if some divine being, both sick yet profoundly creative had intervened to create its masterpiece. Stroke, after careful stroke to create a painting striking enough to move the gods to tears.

The odd beauty of it all did not last, however. Like a ripple to distort the reflection of a peaceful landscape in a tranquil pond, Solus' roar of pain distorted the image drawn just moments before. Now, only the ugliness of the moment remained as the Captain hit the floor all in a heap, spilling blood and now and even more furious wave of reiatsu in the space around them. It took a moment, but they soon found their way back to their feet, but by then Grizzly's follow-up to his first attack had arrived just in time to ensnare its target.

For a moment, it seems as if the grand hunter had become the hunted. A prized bounty, trapped and rendered helpless by the hunter's snare. Most beasts could only writhe in confusion and frustration, but Solus dwelled not among the lesser beasts. Instead, the Captain quickly regained composure. Inhale, pause, exhale. In an instant, the wild reiatsu stabilized. From frenzied to focused in a blink of an eye, Solus become many times more dangerous than they had been previously-- it was now time to take things a little more serious.

In a exhibition of their mastery over their reiatsu, Solus pulsated with a violent energy which fell over the immediate area like a hawk on its prey. Disturbed by the rather rude intrusion of the Captain's power, the orbs covering the golden net all detonated in fierce opposition to the disruptive energy. Smoke, flames, and remnant reiatsu covered the space around the Captain and hid them for a mere breath before being carried off to the outer reaches of the room by the force of the expelled energy.

Once the smoke cleared, Solus stood, between the two, bursting with spiritual energy. Their dark skin now glistened with a light coat of sweat, and the crimson shimmer of blood that had trickled down their arm. Yet, as much as the Captain wanted to, they did not retaliate. Instead they stood, stoic, waiting, watching. An active Solus was a threat, their affinity for a high intensity rush-down strategy made them dangerous given that the constant offensive pressure forced quick thinking and made it hard gather composure. Yet on the other end, the inactive Solus was infinitely more dangerous.

While one sought to ensure one stayed off balance both mentally and physically, the other was far more methodical, more considerate of each and every possibility. While their hesitance would allow for their opponents to think, prepare defenses, or whatever else; Solus was more than capable of doing the same, and often was able to do so at a far greater extent. The slow Lion employed wealth of raw and combat intelligence, vast experience and an ocean of knowledge. The result would me less and less chances to draw up effective strategies against them, and even less chance to defend against any attacks they made in return.

The Captain spoke...

If Kidou and simple sword strikes are all you have to offer, then what hopes you have now die here in this moment. You stand before one of the most powerful Kidou users in all of Gotei, and your meager attacks are meaningless against one of our physical prowess... use this respite wisely for it will be the last you see. From here on..."

Solus took their stance, yet oddly they failed to raise their right arm in order to defend themselves. Perhaps the injury was too great to make proper use of the arm, and Solus was forced to make due with what remained. As it seemed, the Lion had been taken down a notch. Regardless of how the injury truly affected them, the Captain seemed both determined and confident that neither Hyena, nor Grizzly would be able do anything worth any serious concern.

"...we shall get serious..."[/center]

It would come in a blur, and seek to lay waste to them all.
In a flash, the beast sought to let loose a calamity crafted by its own hands.
Its sole purpose to leave nothing but charred remains and ash...

From the Tyrant's Breach, Elijah stood as if some stone sentinel for the entrance. Upon his weathered grey face, his nostril flared at the scent of Solus' blood. The giant shivered with excitement, saliva dripping from his massive maw. The leather armor that encased his enormous frame shifted as his legs moved towards the scent he so delighted in.

Elijah's monstrous steps boomed as he made each step, the gait slow and deliberate. The behemoth was not a fast man, or an overly intelligent one. He was good at two things, crushing foes with his substantial physical might and inhuman endurance.

Upon Elijah's arrival on the makeshift battlefield, he could finally see just who's blood had been spilled. It was that of Solus, his current captain and eventual victim should the fates be in his favor. The other two warriors were of little consequence to Elijah. Their presence amounted to nothing but meat shields or pawns against Solus' considerable battle prowess.

"GWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOAAAARRRRRRR!!!!!" Roared Elijah as he drew his massive five foot cleaver. Looking to the now passive battlefield, Elijah charged toward the stoic captain, right hand gripping the hilt of his massive weapon.

If Solus allowed the lumbering Elijah to close the distance, he would swing his blade as if he was using an axe. His target would be the uninjured left shoulder, hoping to further clip the offensive capabilities. Looking to overwhelm the Captain with sheer strength, Elijah would also attempt an uppercut into his gut with his free left hand. Such a blow would no doubt only phase Solus, but the existing wound let Elijah know the meat shields were capable of harming the beast with the proper opening.

A mild smile crept upon the Seventh's division very own 5th seat the moment his ploy worked as intended and without flaw.. Gaining the upper hand in a short amount of time was what he had hope for. Even If Wuji had no telepathic abilities, he could have sworn that Kira would be pleased with such outcome for the time being. Nevertheless, the 5th seat paid attention to every move and actions invented by Solus. The Wudang man knew quite well that Solus is not one to be underestimated in anyway. Therefore as a skilled combatant himself, Wuji took an undefined stance himself. A stance known as the general index stance of Wudang nine sword art; it's a stance that cover all variations and changes of all forms of martial arts in the
world, no matter the form or stance the opposition assumed or pose to use and apply in combat.

With sharp eyes unwavering from the high tier Captain, Wuji watched everything that happened around the fierce Solus. The Wudang disciple didn't blink or fail to photograph what his eyes had seen all along. He gaze at the Captain's profile and noticed the physical damages that has swept across Solus's right shoulder. With this evidence, Wuji had expected Solus to retaliate or do something weird and wonderful in order to tip the balance for himself. But the Captain stood in his position, unmoved like the mythical rock of ages.

The 5th seat chortled, he couldn't help but praised inwardly, "What a perfect balance combined with willpower. You really are amazing!"… In the midst of the battle, the 5th seat made no move, says no words as the Captain's words continued to hit the air. He only took a step back when Solus posed a fighting stance; it was an action that demands a reaction from the sword saint himself. While being cautious Wuji didn't fail to notice the sudden appearance of Elijah. The Seventh's division vice captain, marched forward unhindered by anyone. Wuji watched as the giant vice captain began to close the proximity that separated him from Solus.

While fully aware that the vice captain will make a move with his massive weapon in hand. Wuji knew just what to do to aid the new visitor. In truth, Wuji had canned all that had happened to Solus. knowing fully well that the captain may not be able to use his injured right hand in combat. The 5th seat decided to cause more problems for the Captain. Wuji swiftly raised his left hand, pointing his index finger at the direction of Solus, albeit the left arm.

"Sai!"

Wuji uttered a single word as he initiated the spell. Despite not calling the number, Wuji was able to cast the spell effortlessly. The kido was meant to act on Solus's left hand base on the idea that with such injury Solus had sustained in his right hand he might be forced to use the left hand to defend himself against Elijah. Albeit a low spell, Wuji held no expectations or prospects about it pinning Solus's left arm behind him, the spell at the very least would cause Solus's muscle to falter or stiffen in its movements long enough for Elijah's attack to meet up.

A second prior to thrusting his trusted soul slayer into solus, seraph's eyelids had gradually started to flicker, swaying downwards, then finally shutting themselves tightly.
Having struck a bargain with the devil, the odds ever not in his favour, he was reluctant to watch the ongoing unfold.

For the 5th seat, this fight may not have meant much, but to seraph it was a whole lot more than a clash of metal against metal. To him, it questioned his readiness to accomplish his longed-for goals, his resolve to cross this one bridge that stood as a daunting hindrance..

At the time seraph couldn't see what was occurring, but it suffices to say that he felt his success deep down in his bones, when solus' body rammed into his(body) almost gently.
Exposing that something had managed to dampen the impact that should've taken place from such a powerful collision, and that "something" obviously happened to be his katana, which had easily dug straight into solus, due to him aiding its piercing capacity with the sheer force of his cannonball like manoeuvre.
In the process of impaling the cap'n, a splashing noise echoed, as bodily fluids splattered randomly, some smearing certain portions of seraph's face, others daubing solus' body and the floor equally.
Meanwhile, the resonant crackling of pale golden electricity that shrouded the extended soul slayer, then swiftly solus, would've briefly disturbed the serene environment, as eventually, said electricity initiates a numbing effect on the damaged left shoulder region.

At this point, seraph's eyelids would twitch open, just enough for him to faintly catch a glimpse of the injured solus, only for them(his eyelids)to close once more, after which seraph is noticed wearing a warm smile across his satisfied face, almost as if trying to tell the 5th seat that he'd done all he could, so now he'd be leaving the rest of the fight in the 5th seat's capable hands.

Later, seraph's strongly displaced body bangs into the bumpy/rough wall of the cave behind him, then he'd drop to the ground with a thud.
in mere seconds he would've lost consciousness. a trance of events from his childhood period up to this point begun to play repeatedly(in his mind)

After having devised what would be their new game plan, Solus was all but ready to initiate their attack, bit the sounds of what appeared to be a battle cry had caught their attention. Quickly, Solus's body shifted so that they could peer towards the source of the cry though they while also allowing themselves not to loose sight of Grizzly in the process.

The shouting man was familiar, though Solus hadn't had the misfortune of interacting with him until now. The Captain was all too familiar with how the being operated, they were similar, but unlike Solus the entity known as Elijah existed on pure killing intent and desire to cause harm. Without a a doubt a being like that would easily become a threat if left unrestrained and it was clear the situation would become dire if Solus failed to act, but the Captain refused to budge ankh more than they had already.

Elijah charged. It seemed that even without provocation, the man had fallen into a frenzy. The hulking, lumbering figure rushing the Captain down has almost evoked the urge to recoil, if not shudder had they not long since been battle hardened. Still, such a being and it's potential was something Solus was sure to not to underestimate. Before long Elijah was within attacking distance, brandishing the large cleaver he had withdrawn only moments ago. Solus hesitated.

Frozen, the Captain stood, as if gripped at the neck by fear. Weakness perhaps? It was unusual for the Captain to wait so long to do anything, and being so overcome with fear, or even succumbing to fear in the first place was out of the question. And yet, there Solus stood, as unmoving as a statue and completely vunerable. Elijah rose his blade and quickly brought it down like a lumberjack to split a log. It was then, and not a moment sooner than Solus showed any signs of life.

It was not fear, nor terror that gripped Solus. Instead sheer patiences, if not reckless bravado. The balls, or the nerve the Captain had to not move until the very last second when faced against such threat, but every move was made with distinct reason. The Captain needed to be sure Elija could not course-course correct in time to Solus' reaction. Just before the cleaver struck, the Captain stepped forward, placing themselves conveniently beneath Elijah's arms as opposed to the blade.

The strength behind the blow was incredible to say the least. In fact, Elijah struck with so much force that the ground beneath Solus cracked upon impact. Solus' knees bent, and body curled slightly both in response to the heavy hit, and as a means to relieve the stress on their bones and body the blow would have cause otherwise. Fortunately their strength was relatively equal and Solus' body was quite capable of taking the kind of punishment Elijah could dish out, but the hit was no laughing matter. While not enough to topple the Captain it was a hit that Solus would not be able to stand against too many more times.

The time to strike back came, and Solus had positioned themselves much close in order to not only deal a more serious blow, but also limit Elijah's ability to respond in return. The Captain's left arm jumped back, tucked and coiled tightly at their flank like a cobra preparing to strike, or a gun cocked and ready to fire. Yet before Solus could pull the trigger, they could feel their arm being pulled further back behind them by some mysterious force.

While seemingly pre-occupied with Elijah, Solus had apparently left themselves open to Grizzly's spell. Another low level Kidou, and perhaps what could have been a futile approach had Solus arms had not been forcibly pulled behind their back. The right arm went with little to no resistance, while the left struggled at first before fully succumbing to the effects of the spell. It seemed the injury left the Captain's right arm more easily susceptible, but the man it was attached to would not be stopped so easily.

In one fluid motion, and as if it was their intend all along, Solus stepped and leaned leaned forward, thrusting their head at Elijah's chest. Having been left with few options in terms of retaliation, a head butt was determined to be the most appropriate at the time. With the success of the strike, it was very much Solus' intent to not only send the hulking being stumbling backward, but to also knock the wind from him and leave him stunned just long enough for the follow up. Shifting in their stance and using the momentum built up from their previous movement Solus now aimed to strike with a reverse roundhouse kick, this time with the intent to launch Elijah in Grizzly's direction. To kill to birds with one stone as they say.

It would come in a blur, and seek to lay waste to them all.
In a flash, the beast sought to let loose a calamity crafted by its own hands.
Its sole purpose to leave nothing but charred remains and ash...

Elijah's lust for battle blinded him to the perceived inaction of Solus. His cleaver met not flesh, but stone as the Captain stepped forward into his guard. The stone rumbled in protest as the massive weapon crashed into it, before surrendering a substantial crack in defeat.

Elijah roared in displeasure as the blow missed, roaring louder still as Solus' headbut connected with broad chest. Though Solus was the smaller man, his blow had potential to topple the giant. However, Elijah was a substantial mass to move. Staggering back a few steps, the giant dropped his cleaver from the surprise of it all.

Infuriated that he had been disarmed, Elijah took the opportunity to make Solus regret is follow up. While the reverse roundhouse crashed against Elijah''s ribs, he would attempt to hook the leg under his left arm and firmly wrap his clawed hands around the Captain's knee. Not only that, Elijah would move to grab the Solus' skull in his remaining hand. This would proceed an attempt to lean forward, jaws agape and rip off the wounded right arm with teeth alone.

Though Wuji's spell was successful in hitting Solus but the Wudang man was not satisfied with the result. it was now apparent that he still need to put more effort in casting his spell In a well timed situation. However, with gaze unwavering from both the captain and vice captain, Wuji remained stealth as he can be. Making no sort of movement to warrant suspicion from Solus.

The 5th seat waited patiently, looking for any trace of opening to exploit as the two high tier shinigami continued their colossal struggle of supremacy. While it was a beauty to behold and watched, it was quite telling as well. Even the proving flame roared in awe as if enjoying the battle like an esteemed spectator. But as fate would have it, Wuji's eyes got large for a moment as his asiatic eyes signaled an opening from Solus's attack.

Though Yuan Wuji had seen the reverse roundhouse kick executed accurately many times in the past by various martial art masters of different martial art sects. But by sheer observation, Wuji knew that Solus initiated it quite well. It was quick like a violent wind, but the flaw in executing a well timed roundhouse kick is the foot that served as a pivot in performing the kick. If one can hurt that foot the attack would not be effective at all. In truth, if Wuji had waited long for the kick to continue its motion then it would be worthless trying to aid the giant vice captain.

The precise moment Solus's foot hit the air and continued its rotatory motion, the 5th seat pointed his left hand again and muttered as fast as he can be.

"Byakurai!"

Almost instantly, a cerulean thin lightning ignited and emanated from his finger tip. Roaring with fierce noise and power, the lightning jolt forward aiming for Solus's ankle that acted as a pivot in performing the roundhouse kick. There was no doubt that the spell was aimed at the ankle of the foot Solus mounted on the ground to perform the kick. On closer inspection, if the kido hit the target the least it could do to Solus would be to slow down the momentum of the kick. But if the kick landed on the vice captain before the kido makes contact, it would cause a problem for Solus's mobility and slow him down to some extent.
