[Mystic Menance] Kin vs Kamikaze

Location: Human world
The mystical menance, is a swamp land hidden deep within karakura, which has a constant fog like atmosphere surounding it. Blanketed by an ankle height pool of stagnant water with deeper trenches and ponds randomly splited apart, one could barely tell what lies beneath the surface. The atmosphere however is rather warm and soothing, though one can barely tell the difference between day and night as even sight beyond a 20m range, can be highly hindered and obscured.

Undevoid of life, the swap has in abondance crawling, swiming and flying creature which naturally duel in the dark and in shallow waters. With most digging their ways into the pond or the dead tree branches and stems spattialy scattered around. Rumor has it that other than being capable of obscuring the sky, one could easily fall under the influence of the fog if wondered off alone for too long, making them forgetful creatures in nature.

Deep within the mystic menance, a land both barren and dead. A watchful eye sat in waiting, gazing off at a distance for the slightest movement of his prey, a beast known to be both silent and quick. How long he was going to wait was up to his prey and as time passed by, it was clear he had his work cut out for him.

The calm wind blew ever so slightly at his limbs. Allowing it lift up, like an eagle readying himself for take off. Seeing as it was about time he made a dive with his prey location in sight, He quickly took a dive pose as his prey wiggled in fear, in an attempt to steer free of an impeding doom headed its way.

Unbeknownst to his feathery predator (the crow). A vibration had hit the earth alarming the little fish of the approach of a monster, standing over 6ft tall.

However, like a predator blinded by its ego, the crow flapped its wings, lifting itself from the dead branch which he once stood only to scamper away in fear a split second later, as a silhouetted figure covered in all black, a standard ninja kimono and a staff held firmly at his right-hand tour through the veil revealing his presence to it.

In fear, three of its black feathers calmly sailed to the ground, settling on the pool below like a Sakura petal dropping into a gentle stream.

The silence of the field quickly returned with the crow already out of sight.

“Swamps”, the figure whose eyes were only made visible calmly exhaled as he continued his journey forward.

Sticking his staff ahead, one foot at a time to measure the depths of each pond. Kin would only ponder what had made him agree to such training exercise. A meeting scheduled at the worst area of his life (the swamp).

Being one who had always been at odds with dirt, Kin would only see this as a form of retribution. A punishment bestowed upon him for his crimes in respect to the number of casualties suffered by the inner corps during his last group mission.

It wasn't a failure, however it was nothing the monk could write home about.

Whatever his reasons, the 3rd seat wasn't going to stay here long or longer than necessary. However this was only If he could find “The one”; at this point the chosen one who could only grant him his freedom.

Settling his staff on a dried-up tree stem, 3 meters to his left. Kin quickly closed both eye, before assuming a meditating pose.

Placing his left palm at the base of his right, Kin slightly radiated his Reiatsu like a radar in an attempt to pick up on the Reiatsu of another. A figure he was yet to meet.

The swampy atmosphere greeted Hide as he approached the mystic menace, with his left hand on his katana. His eyes darted around as if expecting an attack from the blue. He heaved a sigh of relief when nothing happened and plunged further into the swampy terrain clothed with fog.

Swoosh went his sword as he playfully drew it out of its sheath and directed it a tall blade of grass that danced in the wind. He watched as the grass danced to the rhythm of the gentle breeze that blew, moving his own blade in the same way before finally splitting the grass into imperfect halves.

Frogs hopped deeper into the swamps as Hide walked through with his sword back in its sheath. Each step he took, lighter than the other as he was one who always at odds with dirt.

He finally picked up the reiatsu of another and headed in the direction which it came from.

"Sorry to have kept you waiting"
He said as he combed his hair with his fingers

"Shall we?"
He said with a stern look and one of his eyebrows arched, and his hand glued to his katana

Nice opening post you have here, you represented your environment well.

Next time try to represent yourself, give the readers a little detail about yourself, what you look like or what your wearing, you must not expose everything about yourself in one post, just give enough to paint a clear picture of kamikazes appearance.
After a few minutes of total silence kin felt the presence of another wondering around in a very close proximity. Who he was immediately made obvious as the figure approached him in a calm manner with his steps ever lighter than before.

Maintaining his meditative stance, the olive skin shinigami seized his reiatsu with his eye slightly opened to have a good look at the tardy individual who had a lot of explanation to do.

"Sorry to have kept you waiting" The stranger casually uttered with his hand strolling down his hair.

Feeling no need to reply, a simple swipe of his hand, would have kin holding onto his golden staff, once rested ontop a dead tree as he assumes a more active stance.

With his eyes widened and his shoulder's held high, the shinigami would swing his staff casualy with his right hand as he approaches the man before him one step at a time.

"Of course we can" he would finally utter with cold daring eyes as his golden reiatsu calmly leaks out from him, portraying a sudden coldness in his deamenour as if set into a killing frenzy, "come at me as you wish"

Hidēyoshi, unfazed by the display of Kin's golden reiatsu, stands still for a while as a cool breeze blew across the swap, as if clearing the area for the battle that was about to commence.

Hidē slowly caressed the hilt of his katana with his left hand as his eyes slowly went from Kin's head to his feet.

He blitzed in front of Kin, maintaining an arms length distance as he stomped his feet on the ground in hopes of getting mud to splash on Kin's attire and face. He would take advantage of the mud splashing on his face and deliver one blow each to Kin's carotid and jugular arteries

With words uttered, Kin's observations calmly drifted towards the Shinigami's countenance as he stood still with his hand toying with the pommel of his blade.

In a demeanor as calm as the gentle breeze the strange Shinigami vanished out of sight appearing before him an arm length away with a firm force behind his footing, one strong enough to cause an uproar of water directed towards him.

Unfazed by the initial speed of such maneuver, Kin stood in total silence with his right hand brought forward almost reluctantly to shield off the sporadic splash of water, allowing only a few droplet of water coat his outer garment while the rest splashed all over his spinning staff. This in turn fanned off the droplets of water to varying angles, stopping what could have been a total mess.

Swaying his staff a little to his right to put a stop to the swinging motion. Kin calmly loosened his grip allowing him a bit more freedom, a swift return swing quickly followed suit simultaneously allowing his grip return all the way to the base of the staff from its midsection in a manner that would extend his reach beyond that of a blade.

With little to no time wasted, the swing well aimed at his opponent midsection would drive into his left side at the same time required for a full thrust from the Shinigami who had carefully aimed for his throat.

However in response to the thrusting blade Kin, would calmly step backward an extra feet allowing the tip of his sword stop inches away from his vocal cord while his staff, still within reach wrecks havoc to the strangers side.

If his opponent were to carry on with his attack he would not only feel his rib fold into submission but also find himself drifting over to his right side as if kicked away with the force of a rhino.
