[2nd Division] Zanpakutou Review

This is an area where Zanpakutou are reviewed by either the Captain or Vice-Captain of the Division.

Any and all approved Zanpakutou will not be allowed to be changed for a period of atleast 1 month, unless it is at the request of the Captain or Vice-Captain. Be sure to thoroughly research and decide on any ability you choose to submit before submission to avoid double-mindedness.

Strictly follow the Zanpakutou creation rules below and general forum rules while posting in this thread.

While creating a Zanpakuto, you should note that only 4 Shikai abilities and 6 Bankai abilities are allowed per character.

Forbidden Zanpakuto abilities
*Cloning abilities(only achieveable with advanced Hoho techniques of Master level or higher)
*Healing abilities(an exemption could be allowed in the 4th Division)
*Stat enhancing Shikai abilities(Stat boosts are only attainable with Bankai)
*Illusion abilities(Should have a well detailed/explained mechanics if to be allowed)
*Puppeteering(Abilities that allow you control your opponent are greatly frowned upon)
*Zan nullifying abilities
*Intangibility
*Time manipulation
*Elemental transformation abilities(eg. tranforming entirely to fire, ice, lightning etc)
*Total immunity to abilities/elements
*Reiatsu-absorbing abilities

SEALED STATE
Zanpakuto appearance: Sealed in the form of a prayer bead, the beads of faith are worn around Kin right hand and unlike other beads is quite impossible to break.

Zanpakuto’s name: Unmei no Bizu

Release command: Dictate
Appearance: Once activated, 5 marble balls the size of a grown human’s fist manifest above Kin Ryuus head with each Marble baring a symbol and a number (#1 to #5) which signifies their purpose. During activation, the orb in question glows golden and remains golden till a deactivation of the shikai as a whole is forced.

Additional Information: Each of these balls are automatically activated in an arranged sequence over a giving period of time. That’s to say the orb with the Kanji number #3 cannot be activated before #2. Previously activated ability retains a constant effect even if a new ability is due for activation. Kin can however decide to end the Shikai before a full trip can be made. However, re-activating it also means the procedure reboots and starts its journey round from the first marble orb.

ABILITIES
Name: #1(shield)
Type: passive/active
Class: Shikai
Description: Once shikai is activated. The first orb with the kainji Shield quickly emits a golden glow, bestowing upon Kin the ability to ward off most physical and energy based attacks by emitting kinetic discharge which is strong enough, to throw a full-grown man a reasonable distant backwards. This is however dependent on the person’s durability and strength as an equally durable person can be thrown 10-15 meters backward while a lesser individual suffers more of its effect. This ability can also be channeled into his staff allowing him to emit such charges through it in any manner he sees fit.

Name: #2(sword)
Type: Passive/active
Class: Shikai
Description: After 2 post of ability #1 activation, the second Orb adopts a similar golden glow as the first, bestowing upon the practitioner the ability to control Reishi scattered around him as if they were an external part of his limbs. As the blade of his sword (staff), this ability allows him emit finetuned razor sharp Golden beams, capable of tearing through boulders with ease. By waving his staff at a particular direction he can gather together clusters of his/nearby Reishi. Beaming it off as one golden slash wave, or a multitude of slashes at a desired shape or size. This in effect requires little to no time to emit, and can be positively influenced by a spiritually rich environment.


Name: #3(Companion)
Type: passive/active
Class: Shikai
Description: After 3 posts of the 2nd abilities activation, A 3rd orb adopts the golden glow in a similar manner, but unlike the first two a buddha statue is made visible around kin for a split second before draining into his shadow. During this period attacks and defense made by the shinigami tends to double in potency, making it seem as if such attacks or defense were carried out by two people simultaneously. It also goes all the way to ward off attacks directed towards the Shinigamis back/blind spot by temporally taking physical form to either thank it or block it. The amount of what it can tank or block out is dependent on the Shinigamis skill set as blocking very heavy attack would automatically set It into its cool down mode, were the shadow and its effect becomes dormant for a period of two post.

This glow resonates for a while (a period of 3 seconds) before drowning down to reveal a yellow aura revolving round the shinigami. This aura aids the Shinigami's movement and maneuver allowing him extend it outward as an extension of himself or levitate off the ground if need be. His reach with this ability though limited to a distance of 5 meters is extensive as he can easily extend outwards an aura representation of his palm by doing the same with his own palm. The extended part of the aura cloak though 2 to 3 times more expansive is size when compared to the real human parts are only as strong as a concrete wall making it durable enough to interact with physical materials. While the dormant parts of the cloak retain its none durable structure.

This seems to be a well detailed ability, so long as it doesnt grant you any form of innate speed increase, this ability is hereby APPROVED.

Finding out that having inextinguishable flames are overboard, I decided to remove that effect from my Zan and I'm posting it here for review.

Amaterasu Description: Amaterasu is a black flame that burns whatever makes contact with it till said material is rendered to ashes if possible, unless extinguished. It also tends to stick to whatever comes in contact with it, burning materials that normally wouldnt like stone. By radiating his flames, he is capable of affecting the temperature of his surroundings making it so hot that liquid would evaporate upon contact. Its heat remains constant for as long as the flames burn.

Taking up an entirely different approach from my black flames to yellow flames with a defined temperature.

Element: Phoenix fire
Ability 1: Solar radiance
Type: Passive
Description: Darius can cloak his body with, shape, harden, generate and manipulate intense yellow flames of densely packed reishi by means of this power to achieve offensive and defensive purposes. As he uses this ability he naturally radiates this heat, and is able to attain intense levels of heat on the surrounding environment.
•Darius is not affected by this flame given that it is made of his Reiatsu.
•When cloaked with this ability, weak or susceptible objects tend to melt or burn up once within 5m of his location due to the heat radiance.
•The power and intensity of the flame is dependent on the amount of Reiatsu he focuses.
•With this ability, he is able to reach temperatures from 300℉ upon release to a peak heat of 4000℉.
Element: Earth & Phoenix fire
Ability name: Explosive disks
Description: When this ability is used, Darius creates 3 intensely heated discs of earth that glow a white light and are each in constant rapid rotation as they revolve round him. These earthen discs are special in the aspect of their combustibility(as they can explode) and concrete durability with edges as sharp as any knife, allowing them to physically interact with equal sword-wielding opponents. They are controlled telekinetically and move at the same speed a Shakkaho would.
•Upon Darius' command or their destruction, they instantly explode to effects comparable to a full powered Shakkaho.
•Each disk is 3ft in radius and diameter.
•Darius can make more than 3 discs at a time but chooses not to as successfully controlling more would require his full concentration.
•The Reiatsu cost for each explosion is the same as casting a full powered level 31 Kidou.
Element: Phoenix fire
Ability 3: Inferno
Description: Darius places both palms directly on the earth to erupt 10 massive pillars of intense yellow flames that bursts from the earth surrounding a 30m radius from Darius, each reaches 20ft in height and possess his peak heat temperature...thus trapping whatever or whoever is caught within. However, upon Darius' command, they converge into a focal point at the center before exploding violently upwards in one massive blast, burning all within with its unrestrained might. Costs 1/4 of his Reiatsu.

Element: Earth
Ability 4:
Description: Darius is able to shape, manipulate and alter the state of earth, as well as feel vibrations on it and "earthen" elements including most solid objects, specifically all minerals and mineral compositions regardless of their state (mountain, boulder, sand or dust), dirt and soil to his will.
•He feels vibrations as ripples, therefore he is unable to guage the power of said individual.
•His control over earth is limited to 30m, though he could reach an extra 5m if he adds effort.

Ability Description: The surrounding earth quakes briefly before three(3) snake-like dragons made entirely of mud_erupt violently upwards from the earth beneath the target/targets, packing along with them powerful concussive force strong enough to break a tree trunk on impact. However, from their mouths they spew large powerful streams of quick drying mud that move as powerful water waves, enough to engulf a 35m radius of dry land in a river of mud. The uniqueness of this technique comes in the mud's ability to dry rapidly once anything/person is caught in it, thus engulfing them completely and trapping them in a thick layer of solidified earth.
*This mud wave can be slowed when it absorbs water_as it soaks up large bodies of water like a sponge.
*Said mud will remain as liquid mud until it comes in contact with something before engulfing it and solidifying.
*The mud dragons will remain active and will be manipulated by Darius for the duration of his Shikai, unless destroyed by an external force.
*Darius is unaffected by this technique as it is made from his Reiatsu.

In a situation when the opponent you fight has no water element what happens next? Is it a one hit trap for him?
Darius is unaffected by this technique as it is made from his Reiatsu.
Since when does it say that if an ability is made up of your own reiatsu you won't get affected by it? Yes the damage my be little or reduced in whichever case, but you can't claim immunity simply because it is from your reiatsu.

Since when does it say that if an ability is made up of your own reiatsu you won't get affected by it? Yes the damage my be little or reduced in whichever case, but you can't claim immunity simply because it is from your reiatsu.

I only only have a few questions for your mud dragons..

I will like you to clerify this a bit.

Are the dragons (each one of them) capable of covering a 35 meter radius of earth or is this a combined effort.

If its a combined effort then I advice you reduce that range to a 30m which leaves it at 10m per dragon.

Secondly,

I would also prefer, you tagged this ability to a particular kidou level(dragons) or strength level(the dry mud).
